Wengong mountain is located in the west of Wuyuan County, only 27 kilometers away from the county seat. The main peak is 315 meters above sea level, with a forest coverage rate of 99%. The atmospheric environment quality is far better than the national first-class standard. There are many valuable tree species, such as Pinus armandii, Cunninghamia lanceolata, Castanopsis fargesii, Phoebe bournei, maple, etc. the natural broad-leaved forest covers the vast expanse of the sun. Historical evolution

The original name of Wengong mountain was Jiulao Furong mountain. In 1150 A.D., Zhu Xi, a great master of Neo Confucianism, planted 24 Chinese fir trees around his ancestral tomb according to the layout of eight trigrams. After more than 800 years of wind and rain, there are 16 existing trees, of which the highest is 38.7 meters, and the thickest is 3.43 meters in chest circumference, which is known as "the ancient fir King Group in Jiangnan". In the second year of Jiading (1209), song ningzongshi named Zhu Xi "Wengong", so later generations changed the name of the mountain to Wengong mountain. Wengong mountain is also famous for this.

1. Wengong Lake

Wengong Lake scenic spot is located in Xiaolin village, zhongyun town. The normal water level area of the lake is about 800 mu, and the rainwater collection area of the reservoir is 3.8 square kilometers. Because it is located at the foot of Wengong mountain, the hometown of Zhu Xi, it is called Wengong lake.

Wengong lake has a water storage capacity of about 4.17 million cubic meters. The water quality is clear, surrounded by mountains on three sides, and there are small islands in the lake. 2. Jiqing Pavilion

Shangrao Zhuxi Memorial Hall Zhuxi memorial hall is located in Wengong mountain Zhuzi Culture Park of Wengong mountain scenic spot in Wuyuan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, covering an area of 300 square meters. There are three exhibition rooms in the memorial hall. The first exhibition room mainly introduces Zhu Xi's life, works and influence on the past dynasties; the second exhibition room displays and introduces the relics and legends left by Zhu Xi's two visits to his hometown; the third exhibition room introduces Zhu Xi's Neo Confucianism, patriotism, agriculture based thought, etc.

Wuyuan is the hometown of Zhu Xi, a famous scholar in Song Dynasty. The completion of Zhu Xi Memorial Hall will play a positive role in promoting Zhu Xi culture.

5. Zhu Xi's ancestral tomb

Wengong mountain is located in Wuyuan County, Jiangxi Province. It got its name from Zhu Xi, the master of Neo Confucianism. Because there is his grandmother's grave on the mountain. Zhu Xi's great grandfather once asked the famous feng shui master at that time to observe the statue. The master found that the benefits of Wengong mountain lie in the dragon head. At that time, it happened that one day the Post Road passed along the mountain, so some people said it was a dragon vein. Later, Zhu Xi's grandmother was buried on the mountain, and it was said that the descendants of Zhu family would produce "adults". Sure enough, there was a Zhu Xi.

Zhu Xi went to the mountain many times to worship his grandmother, and planted 24 pine trees on the mountain, symbolizing the twenty-four filial piety. Only about ten trees were left because someone stole the raft. On the hillside, it is said that there is a kind of thing called Wengong hat, which is actually a kind of mineral, like the size of sugar particles. It is said that it has health care effect.
