Zhou zhirou's former residence is located in xiajie village, Dongcheng Town, Linhai, in Dongcheng cinema. On December 5, 2003, Linhai Municipal People's government announced it as "Linhai cultural relics protection unit".
Profile
Zhou zhirou (1896-1986), formerly known as Baifu, was born in Dongcheng, Linhai.
He graduated from Baoding Military Academy in 1922 and served as a military instructor in Huangpu Military Academy.
In 1931, he served as commander of the 14th division and deputy commander of the 18th army of the national government army. Later, appreciated by Song Meiling, he was sent to Europe, America and other countries to investigate aviation in 1933, and was responsible for establishing the Chinese air force. In 1936, he returned to China and served as the director of education, President and director of the Aviation Commission of the central aviation school. During the Anti Japanese War, he also served as the commander in chief of the former enemy headquarters of the air force, led the Chinese air force to fight against Japan, and made great achievements. In 1946, he was appointed commander of the air force general command, which was reorganized by the Aviation Commission.
He went to Taiwan in 1949 and later served as the chief of staff of Taiwan's "Ministry of national defense", "member of the Design Committee of the Executive Yuan" and "chairman of the ordnance Commission of the Ministry of national defense".
He served as "Secretary General of the National Defense Conference" in 1954, transferred to "President of Taiwan Province" in 1957, and concurrently served as "Taiwan Security commander" and "civil defense commander".
In 1962, he was appointed chief of staff of the "presidential palace".
After September 1966, he successively served as the strategic adviser of the presidential palace, the director of the presidential palace Chamberlain, the chairman of the National Construction Research Committee, and the chairman of the China Golf Association, and was awarded the rank of first-class general. He is a member of the Seventh Central Committee of the Kuomintang, a member of the eighth, ninth and tenth Standing Committee of the Central Committee, a member of the Eleventh Central Committee appraisal committee, and chairman of the presidium of the Twelfth Central Committee appraisal committee. Zhou zhirou was very filial to his mother. When her mother died at the age of 93, she was very sad.
On August 29, 1986, he died of a heart attack at the age of 90.
Former Residence
Zhou zhirou's former residence was built in 1940. It faces south from the north, with five bays on the plane, two single eaves, two hard hills and two sloping roofs. It is 20.3 meters wide and 13.6 meters deep, with a construction area of 552.16 square meters. Among them, the width of Mingjian is 4.5m, and that of the second is 3.75m. The width between tips is 3.7 M. There is an eaves Gallery in the front and a railing on the second floor. The railing is slightly carved. The structure is simple and generous, and the whole body oil is rust red. It is well preserved.
