Sanyong lake is located in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, which is known as "the city of green oil, the city of natural lakes and the hometown of hot springs in northern China". It is one of the many lakes in Daqing.

Sanyong lake, located in Longfeng District of Daqing City, is adjacent to Wanfeng road in the south, Century Avenue in the north, Longyong road in the East, Tang Center, Huaxi Longcheng and leaders in the East, and Wanbao road and Wanbao community in the West. In the former Sanyong Village (the village has been abolished and merged into the main urban area), Hancheng Mingyuan community is located in the northwest corner of Sanyong lake, and Hancheng Xingyuan community is located in the northeast corner. On Sanyong lake, there is a 1980 meter long trestle connecting the north bank and the East Bank of the lake, so that people can easily walk in the center of the lake. There are three "Chinese knots" in the central area, 33 meters high and 20 meters wide, which means "Yongkang, Yongle and Yongfu". Sanyong lake was first called sanyongpao, and it was renamed Sanyong Lake in 2000. It is a natural lake with the shape of a bamboo basket. Data show that the water level of Sanyong lake is 143.949 meters, the water surface area is 4080 mu, and the storage capacity is 3.711 million cubic meters. There is no way to know when the lake was formed.

Myths and legends

One day, Qinglong met a beautiful and pure girl on the Songnen Plain. She was in love and didn't want to go back to the sky any more.

The girl's name is Sanyong. Qinglong's devotion moved her, so Qinglong and Sanyong lived a happy life together. However, it didn't last long. The Jade Emperor was furious when he found that Qinglong had come down to earth without permission. He sent the heavenly soldiers to catch Qinglong back and locked him up with a chain. Since then, Qinglong and Sanyong have been separated forever. However, Qinglong can still see Sanyong in the sky. He watched his beloved grow old from afar, and his hair turned white until he died. Before she died, Sanyong was buried in the grassland where she saw Qinglong for the first time. Seeing his beloved buried in the deserted grassland, Qinglong can no longer bear the grief in his heart. His tears fall from the sky and just fall on Sanyong's grave. This tear is the later Sanyong Pao, which buries Qinglong's favorite forever under the water.

Good water, good fish, during the war, people fished here; large-scale high-yield intensive fish culture project on the water surface created a precedent of large-scale saline alkali bubble artificial fish culture in Daqing area. Sanyong lake not only has beautiful legends, but also has unlimited economic value to be developed. There are many fish in Sanyong lake. Occasionally, they will break the calm of the lake. They are as naughty as children. There are many kinds of fish, including crucian carp, fat head, grass root, carp, loach and so on. Because it is formed naturally and the water quality is good, the fish it grows out of is also very fresh and plump. As early as the 1960s and 1970s, the workers who took part in the battle came to the lake to fish, and then set up iron pots on the shore to stew and eat.

Since there is such good water, it's a pity not to use it! In fact, in 1986, Longfeng developed sanyongpao, and tried the project of large-scale high-yield intensive fish culture on water surface. After more than half a year's efforts, 513000 Jin of fish were produced, and the income reached 592000 yuan. The social and economic benefits made people marvel, which created a precedent for large-scale artificial fish culture in Daqing area.

Sanyong lake was the first stagnant lake. In 1999, with the implementation of the nen'an water diversion project, it was connected with Liming lake, and Sanyong lake became a living water lake. Now every time after the rain, the water in the lake will be clearer and the amount of water will increase. The flowing water creates a better living environment for the fish in the lake, and the quantity and quality are better than before.

Lakeside development

On June 15, 2007, at the signing ceremony of Daqing economic and technological cooperation project of the 18th Harbin International Trade and economic cooperation conference, Daqing city signed a letter of intent with South Korea Chengdao group on the development and construction of Sanyong Lake region, with a contract amount of 2.7 billion yuan, accounting for 29.28% of the total amount of 34 signed projects. The successful holding of this signing activity marks that the investment invitation work of Sanyong Lake regional comprehensive improvement project has achieved remarkable results, and the regional development and construction work has entered the substantive operation stage, which has laid a solid foundation for the construction of Sanyong Lake residential community with "clean water, blue sky, harmony between man and nature".

At present, Hancheng international phase I (Hancheng Mingyuan) and Hancheng international phase II (Hancheng Xingyuan) on the shore of Sanyong lake have been put into use, and phase III and phase IV are also in the planning, along with the entertainment places built around the lake, five-star hotels and a series of upstream recreational facilities in the lake.

Urban construction is a magic wand. It turns low bungalows into high-rise buildings and dusty country roads into wide and flat asphalt roads. If there is no Sanyong lake, there will be no planning for the construction facilities near her. It is Sanyong lake that attracts high-end residential buildings with its unique charm.
