Xiwuzhumuqin grassland

Xiwuzhumuqin grassland is a typical area of Xilinguole grassland in Inner Mongolia, one of the four grasslands in the world. Grassland style is well preserved. It is the only area that collects nine types of grassland in Inner Mongolia. It is also the most gorgeous and magnificent area in northern China. It is known as "Paradise Grassland". Here, the grass is like a sea, the herds are like clouds, the yurts are like buckles, and the rivers are flowing with silver. The scenic spots under its jurisdiction include "Mongolian hot" which integrates Mongolian folk culture of clothing, food, housing and transportation; there are "nomadic tribes" which reproduce the life landscape of nomadic people in ancient grassland; and there are "forest grassland ecological areas" which display the characteristics of the transition zone from forest grassland to meadow grassland.

Wuzhumuqin grassland

Wuzhumuqin grassland is the most representative of typical temperate grassland in China, and it is also the best preserved natural pasture in Xilinguole grassland, known as "caodianzi". Wuzhumuqin was originally the name of a nomadic tribe in the area of Lushan in Altay Mountains of Outer Mongolia. It is said that the people of Wuzhumuqin originally lived in a place called wuzhumu mountain, which is full of grapes. "Wuzhumuqin" means grape in Mongolian, and "Qin" means "the person who has or picks grapes" in Mongolian, so "Wuzhumuqin" is the person of Lushan in Mongolian.

Ujimqin people

Up to now, the people of Ujimqin still believe that they are from the places of "chaganwula in Ujimqin" and "galabashangha Gobi" where "the stirrups jingle and the sheep bleat". Perhaps it's the rich and beautiful water plants here that have deeply attracted them. On May 1, 1947, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was established; in 1956, the administrative division was re divided into two banners, East Wuzhumuqin banner and West Wuzhumuqin banner; in 1966, wanggaimiao, the government resident of West Wuqi banner, was renamed Bayanwula Town, which has been in use until now. "Bayan Wula" is Mongolian, which means rich mountain. Today's Bayan Wula town is just as prosperous and vigorous as its name.

Ujimqin horse

Wuzhumuqin horse has a long history. It is famous for its symmetrical shape, good endurance, strong running ability and fast speed. It is said that Cao Cao once rode this horse in the Three Kingdoms period. The famous guard of Genghis Khan, the army of fear of Xue, was on this horse for thousands of miles. Wuzhumuqin horse, also known as Houshan horse, was chosen by the emperor of Qing Dynasty for his horse and cavalry. Therefore, Wuzhumuqin herdsmen here are very good at raising and training horses.

Wuzhumuqin fat tailed sheep

Wuzhumuqin fat tailed sheep is named for its fat and heavy tail. This kind of sheep has strong fat grasping ability, delicious meat, fat but not greasy. It is a valuable mutton sheep resource in China, and has been awarded the title of "green food" by the national green food development center. In addition to the above characteristics, the unique feature of Ujimqin sheep is that it has one more rib than other sheep. Wuzhumuqin fat tailed sheep weighs 56 kg, Jieyang weighs 100 kg, and the heaviest is 130 kg. It can be said that it is the best one in the sheep family and the ideal mount for grassland urchins.

Wuzhumuqin grassland is the nearest grassland resort to Beijing, Tianjin, Dalian and other cities. From these cities, you can get here in one day by plane or by train, which makes you feel the unique style of grassland in northern China

Xiwuzhumuqin banner is located in the east of Xilin Gol League, connecting Chifeng City in the South and Xilinhot City in the West. The total area is 22960 square kilometers. The total population is 70000 (2003).

Bayanwula Town: it has jurisdiction over seven neighborhood committees, namely, balagar, Hanwula, Bayanhushu, Bayanwula, hariatu, Hadatu and hugejile.

Harygentai Town: it governs wulangou neighborhood committee; six Gacha towns, namely, erdengbaolage, saihanwendur, harygentai, bayanholetu, chaganbaogetu, and Wulan errige.

Jirengaole Town: it has jurisdiction over the neighborhood committee of Haoqin temple; three Gacha, namely, jirengaole, alatatu and hugejiletu.

Baori gustai Sumu: it governs five Gacha, namely Baori Hushu, Hanwula, Bayan wenduri, Bayan HUPO and Baori wenduri.

Hanwulasumu: it governs three gachas: wurentuya, sarula Baolige and wulanaodao.

Baqi Sumu: it has jurisdiction over 9 Gacha, namely, Bayan Qaidam, Bayan Nur, dabushilatu, errihe tuobao, Baqi Baolige, Baqi, dabusutu, erennur and arihushu.

Bayanhuasumu: it governs four gachas, namely, Xing'an, tangsuge, bayandourong and ulantuga.

Ulan halagasu Mu governs four Gacha, namely Bayan Obotu, hinigol, saruratuya and yilete.

Alatan Gaole Sumu: it governs five Gacha, namely Alatan aodu, uritugole, aogan Baolige, Alatan Gaole and balagar.

Haoletu gaolesumu: it has jurisdiction over five Gacha, namely bayanbaolige, xinibalige, hongger, yarigetu and saruratala.

Balagarsumu: it governs 11 Gacha, including Bayan errihetu, aoganhada, Bayan wenduerhu, Bayan Hushu, huriletu, Shutu, hariatu, wendulai, saihannur, sarula naoduge and Qaidam.

Jeren Sumu has jurisdiction over eight Gacha, namely, Huhe Xile, Baolige, Hailiutu, wulannur, Shandan Baolige, zagestai, Jeren and duribuletu.

Bayan gaolesumu: it governs 6 Gacha, namely Bayan Tala, Bayan Gaole, Bayan Wula, Bayan Qinggele, Bayan hongger and guriban Baolige.

Bayan hushushusumu: it governs seven Gacha, namely hongger, Songgen, sarurahil, baoragen, Buridun, Bayan Chagan and chaoletu.

Daqingbaolasumu: it governs 8 Gacha, namely halagaitu, habuqira, Daolundaba, alateng Oboo, agriculture, urijil, Chagannur and wendurihu.

Gaorihan Ranch: tuliga ranch, Wengen ranch, bayanhelesutai ranch, Baori Baolige ranch, Geriletu ranch, bayandele ranch, Baori Hushu ranch, hudenaoer ranch and aoluntaohai ranch.

In 2005, xiwuzhumuqin banner governs 3 towns and 12 Sumu: Bayan Wula Town, harygentai Town, jirengaole Town, baorigestai Sumu, Hanwula Sumu, Baqi Sumu, Bayanhua Sumu, Ulan halaga Sumu, Alatan Gaole Sumu, haoletu Gaole Sumu, balagar Sumu, jierensumu, Bayan Gaole Sumu, Bayan Hushu Sumu and daqingbaolage Sumu.

In 2006, Xiwu banner adjusted the original 15 Sumu towns to 6, namely balagargaole Town, Bayanhua Town, jirengaole Town, gaorihan Town, haoletugole town and bayanhushusumu town. Among them, Bayan Wula town and Ulan halaga Sumu town were abolished, and eight Gacha in balagar Sumu were merged to establish balagar Gaole town as the seat of the banner government.
