Liaoning Houshi National Forest Park is located in the southwest of Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province. It is composed of Sanfeng mountain, Zhuyun peak, fofeng peak, jiabian stone and other scenic spots. It is a forest park with primeval forest and strange peaks and stones as the main landscape, with a total area of 2400 hectares.
Liaoning Houshi National Forest Park is located in the extension of Longgang vein of Changbai Mountain system. The terrain is high in the East and low in the west, with an altitude of 1131 meters. It belongs to the north temperate continental monsoon climate zone, with a forest coverage rate of 95.7%. There are 153 species of woody plants in 32 families, 242 species of herbaceous plants in 60 families, and more than 170 species of wild animals.
In November 2002, Liaoning Houshi Forest Park was approved as a national forest park by the State Forestry Bureau.

Main attractions
Shuangling Temple
Shuangling temple is located in the west central part of Liaoning Houshi National Forest Park. It was built in Zhenguan period of Tang Dynasty. Master Fawu raised money to create a white jade statue of Bodhisattva in dizang. This statue holds a staff in the right hand and a treasure in the left hand, standing in front of the chest and looking down on all living beings.
Intercalated flat stone
Jiabianshi is located in the middle of Liaoning Houshi National Forest Park, near xianrenzhi and yuguanyin scenic spots. The stone is more than 40 meters long, and the narrowest part is only more than 30 cm, which has the meaning of "survival from nowhere" and "a glimmer of vitality".
Qiyunshi
Qiyun stone, located in the east of Liaoning Houshi National Forest Park, is said to be named after Nurhachi, the emperor of Qing Dynasty. It is said that Nurhachi once rushed to the mountain to collect ginseng. After worshiping this huge stone, he gained a lot in both hunting and collecting ginseng.
Development and construction
Infrastructure
In 1994, Xinbin county government invested in the road from Muqi town to Liaoning Houshi National Forest Park, established a network, and built a reservoir and a wooden house resort.
From 2004 to 2005, Xinbin county government invested in the further improvement and reconstruction of the software and hardware facilities of Liaoning Houshi National Forest Park.
Honorary recognition
In July 1994, Liaoning Houshi Forest Park was approved as a provincial forest park by Liaoning Provincial Forestry Department.
In November 2002, Liaoning Houshi Forest Park was approved as a national forest park by the State Forestry Bureau.
In July 2003, Liaoning Houshi Forest Park won the title of "top ten forest parks" in Liaoning Province.
In 2004, Liaoning Houshi Forest Park was recognized as a national AAAA scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration.

History and culture
In 2017, Liaoning Houshi National Forest Park held the first mountain opening Festival. Kaishan Festival is a festival for Manchu mountain people to release and collect mountains every year. It is usually held in the early April of the lunar calendar. The activities of Kaishan Festival include shaman sacrifice, Manchu Yangko, Shuangling praying, Manchu song and dance, Manchu snacks, eighteen Luo Han Zhai, Manchu paper cutting, straw weaving and Shanzhen collection.
