Details of scenic spots
Qujiang building has experienced many vicissitudes, but its main body is well preserved. As a historical witness of Chen Yi's implementation of the Communist Party of China's stand of uniting against Japan, in 1985, the people's Government of Yuantai county (now Jiangyan District of Taizhou City) announced that Qujiang tower was a cultural relic protection unit. With the support of the people's Government of Jiangsu Province, the original Tai County People's Government renovated the building in 1986. The revolutionary historical materials exhibition room on the first floor displays the revolutionary struggle history related to Jiangyan since September 1940 with a large number of photos, historical materials and objects. The Anti Japanese War Memorial room on the second floor is divided into three parts: "one million banners for anti Japanese War", "sincere cooperation in Anti Japanese War" and "red flags flying all over the sky in October". It reproduces a series of history reflecting the Anti Japanese struggle of Jiangyan people, such as the eastward advance of the New Fourth Army, and warns people to learn from history and never forget history.

Among them, there are more than 200 calligraphic works of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries, such as Peng Chong, Chen Pixian, Guan Wenwei and Hui Yuyu, commanders of the New Fourth Army, and meticulous works of veterans of the New Fourth Army and famous calligraphers and painters in China. Under the eaves of the front building is a new plaque inscribed by Peng Chong, Secretary of Taixian county Party committee of the CPC. On the screen of the hall is a plaque inscribed by Zhang Jian (an industrialist in the period of the Republic of China) of Nantong, who was the number one scholar in the late Qing Dynasty. On both sides of the plaque are couplets holding pillars: "what a dangerous building. Who is the host and who is the guest? Only two old houses are half suitable for the moon and half suitable for the wind.". In front of the screen stands a bust of Chen Yi, awe inspiring and lifelike.
Standing in the hall, gazing at the statue of Chen Yi, it seems that the voice of Comrade Chen Yi and the support of people from all walks of life echoed in his ears.

Qujiang building once welcomed four special guests. They are pan zuncha's family, the son of Mr. Pan Zhongbin. They came by bus from Hailing District of Taizhou city to visit Qujiang tower. After bowing to the statue of Comrade Chen Yi, they went into the exhibition hall of revolutionary historical materials in Qujiang building and looked around for the photo of the elder Mr. Pan Zhongbin. Mr. Pan Zhongbin was one of the representatives of Jiangyan people who participated in the military and civil conference of eight counties in Central Jiangsu Province in Qujiang building. At that time, his pan Yitai pig farm was the largest in Jiangyan.
Mr. Pan zuncha was born in the old Taizhou city. This time he came to take his newly married daughter and son-in-law with him. At his request, the daughter and son-in-law bowed deeply three times in front of his grandfather's photo. Then, Mr. Pan zuncha also taught them to work and live well and make more contributions to the society like his grandfather. Mr. Pan zuncha also bowed to the statue of Comrade Chen Yi at the military and civilian Congress of eight counties on the east side of Qujiang tower.
The military and civilian meeting of eight counties in Central Jiangsu attended by Mr. Pan Zhongbin was held in the autumn of 1940. At that time, Comrade Chen Yi invited a large number of Democrats to attend the meeting in Qujiang building. At the meeting, Mr. Pan spoke in support of the New Fourth Army's eastward movement against Japan and, together with more than 50 gentry, sent telegrams to Han Deloitte and Chiang Kai Shek calling for unity. Although he was persecuted by the reactionaries and his family moved to Taizhou City and gave up his family business in Jiangyan, he still stood firmly on the side of the party and the people.
