Chenqiaoyi scenic spot is located in the southeast of Fengqiu County, on the North Bank of the Yellow River, across the river from Kaifeng, the ancient capital of the seven dynasties.

In the spring of 960, under the instigation of Zhao Kuangyin and others, the officers of Zhenzhou (now Zhengding County, Hebei Province) and Dingzhou (now Dingxian County, Hebei Province) sent people to lie about the military situation, saying that the northern Han and Liao armies went south to attack Houzhou. They had a great momentum and asked for assistance. Fan Zhi, the Prime Minister of the Later Zhou Dynasty, and Wang Pu, who did not distinguish between the true and the false, hastily sent Zhao Kuangyin to lead the elite army of the whole country to resist.

Zhao Kuangyin led the army to Chenqiao post and stopped. That night, under his planning, he launched the "Chenqiao mutiny". Zhao Kuangyin was proposed as emperor by a confidant, and the generals agreed. Then Zhao Guangyi and Zhao Pu led the generals to deploy their troops, and sent people back to Kaifeng at night to send letters to Shi Shouxin and Wang Shenqi, Zhao Kuangyin's confidants and imperial generals guarding the capital, asking them to coordinate in the capital.

In the early morning of the next day, that is, in the early morning of January 4, 960 A.D., the shouts of Chen Qiaoyi all around suddenly burst out, shaking the fields. Zhao Kuangyin drunk just wake up, quickly out of the handsome account to check, saw outside already full of armed generals. As soon as the generals saw Zhao Kuangyin, they all cried out in unison: "all generals have no owners. They are willing to push the spot check to be the son of heaven. "Then, they rushed up and pushed Zhao Kuangyin into the Shuai tent. Someone put the yellow robe that the emperor had prepared in advance on Zhao Kuangyin. All the generals knelt down and chanted "long live". Soon after, Zhao Kuangyin led his army back to the capital, abandoned Chai zongxun, and sat on the throne of the emperor. After more than ten years, the Northern Song Dynasty gradually eliminated other separatist regimes, ending the split situation of Five Dynasties and ten states. After the establishment of the Northern Song Dynasty, the rulers strengthened centralization in politics, economy and military.
