Chaozhou Zilian Forest Resort is located in the northeast of Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province, in the south of Fenghuang mountain, about 16 kilometers away from Chaozhou City. Chaozhou Zilian Forest Resort covers an area of more than ten square kilometers. The first phase of the project was started in September 2009 and completed in August 2011. It provides leisure, business and other services to guests at home and abroad, as well as religious pilgrimage, tourism, natural health, cultural experience, popular science education and other tourism routes and tourism real estate products.

Chaozhou Zilian Forest Resort will become one of the three major functional areas of "Guangdong Wuzhou Chaoren garden" as "Wuzhou Zilian leisure resort area". Original name

There are two versions of the origin of the name of Zilian mountain. The first one is that according to the mountain people, in ancient times, there were purple lotus growing in the stream near the mountain, so it was named Zilian mountain. The other holds that Zilian mountain is connected with Lanwu peak in a vein, with a radius of thousands of feet. The mountain ranges from peak to peak, from middle to low, and from high to high. It is like the green wave of lotus, blooming and looking up to the sky. There are lots of rocks everywhere, and the color is like purple from the East.
