Meishan Park
Meishan park is located in Meishan Township, Chiayi County, Taiwan Province, covering an area of 6 hectares. It is full of plum trees, peonies, azaleas, Christmas red, peaches, plums and other flowers and trees. It has a large scale and simple and quiet path.
The park is built on the edge of the mountain. It goes up the cobblestone trail and first arrives at the memorial to the martyrdom of military workers in Caoling. This is to commemorate 74 officers and soldiers who died in building Caoling pool in 1951. On top of it is Jieshou Pavilion. There are stone tables and chairs in the pavilion. From here, the mountains are green and the scenery is beautiful. There is a plum Pavilion on the left side of Jieshou Pavilion, and a tea drinking Pavilion on the right side, selling all kinds of plum tea, plum essence and other drinks and specialties. In the plum blossom season, if you can go to the plum Pavilion, enjoy the plum blossom and drink plum tea, it will be a pleasure. On the pavilion, you can see Meishan village from afar. It's a simple village, which makes you feel pitiful! The park also has children's play area, flower terrace, footpath and other landscape facilities, which is the best leisure place for local residents.
