Development history
The site covers an area of 45000 square meters and its cultural layer is 3 meters thick. In 1990, the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences conducted a trial excavation, followed by four official excavations, covering an area of nearly 1500 square meters. It is found that houses, caves (or ash pits), adult earth pit tombs, baby urn coffins and other remains in different periods, forms or uses of the Neolithic age. More than 2300 production tools and living utensils have been unearthed. According to the carbon 14 measurement, the absolute age is 5000-6000 years ago. It is a typical and well preserved primitive clan settlement site. The site is located in the border area of ancient North and South cultures. There are some factors different from other Neolithic cultures, such as the combination of flood and drought crops, the building similar to the folk "push-pull" house doors in Japan and South Korea, the stone plowshare very similar to the iron plowshare used in today's rural arable land, the baby urn coffin burial and the clan member cemetery different from other cultures The type of Dragon carving stele culture. ? since 1990 Since 1949, the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of social sciences has successively carried out five excavations on this site, making the relics and relics buried for thousands of years reappear brilliantly layer by layer and piece by piece. A large number of stone labor tools such as axes, chisels, chisels, shovels, spades, plows, sickles and spades have been unearthed. At the same time, a number of bowls, bowls, plates, pots, bottles, vats, urns and other objects of great research and ornamental value have been unearthed Ding and other dozens of black, red and gray pottery and decorations; what is particularly amazing is that the buildings where our ancestors lived have used lime and cement like building materials to build the house into a unit structure, and use push-pull structure of the house door. This is a great discovery that has never been made in prehistoric archaeology. As early as five or six thousand years ago, our ancestors had invented and widely used it in living, but we still use it in some areas today.
