Shigong mountain in Suzhou

Shigong mountain needs to be tasted slowly. Sitting in a pavilion and watching the misty Taihu Lake, all the pressure in the city will disappear. It is in the southeast corner of Xishan island in Taihu Lake, where "the moon has flowers and the seasons have fruits". It is surrounded by water on three sides and leans against the mountains. It is lush with green cypresses, like a green snail in the water, like a jasper floating lake. The water in the mountain village reflects the natural beauty.

In the past, there were two strange stones at the foot of the mountain near the water, which were like a pair of old men and old women. They were called Shigong and Shipo. There is little soil in the stone mountain formed by Taihu Lake stone. Taihu stone is green, white and black. It is characterized by thin, transparent, leaky and wrinkled characters. It is also called Huashi. It is inlaid and exquisitely carved, and often appears as corolla.

There is also Shigong temple near the lake. Master Haicheng once lived here for 10 years. On top of the Taihu Lake rocks all over the mountain is pine Berlin. On a magical day, you must climb it yourself. The ladder can only accommodate one person at a time.

After hundreds of millions of years of nature's baptism, the mountain's limestone has produced many natural landscapes, such as cloud ladder, a line of sky, Xiguang cave, Guiyun cave and so on. The cultural landscapes, such as Yumo Pavilion, Duanshan Pavilion, Laihe Pavilion, Lanxi Pavilion, Juxiang Pavilion, Fuyu North Hall, detached Pavilion and Yiying bridge, give people a quiet and implicit aesthetic feeling with their lively shape, simple and elegant colors, soft and smooth outline and exquisite beauty.

Before I could find Shi Gong and Shi Po, I was too busy to go down the mountain when it was getting late. At this time, the setting sun of Taihu Lake was shining on the water. It was so beautiful.

Linjin lake, fresh aquatic products, mussel meat, tofu, silver fish fried eggs are tender and delicious. There are many kinds of wild vegetables, such as wenwentou, gouqitou and Zizania latifolia.

Transportation: during the peak tourist season, there are minibuses to and from the scenic spots. It costs 2 yuan per person at each station. Usually, you can rent a motor tricycle or minivan, and the starting fee is 5 yuan.

Public transport:

① You can get to the west of Suzhou railway station by No.91, or you can get to Wuzhong bus station by No.58.  

② Get off at the exit of Xishan of Suzhou ring expressway; take bus No.69, 58691.

Self driving:

(1) Hangzhou → Shigong mountain

Hangzhou can go from Shanghai Hangzhou Expressway on Qianjiang second bridge to Jiaxing, then turn to Zhajiasu expressway, and then approach Suzhou. At the exit of Wuzhong District, turn to Suzhou Southwest Ring Expressway. The journey is about 18 km. Then go to xishanxia expressway, and drive to Taihu bridge. You can get to Xishan directly. Please pay attention to the road signs.  

② Shanghai direction → Shigong mountain

Scheme 1: Huning Expressway - Wuzhong crossing of Suzhou Jiahang Expressway - Yuehu road - Taihu tourism highway - Taihu bridge - Jintang.  

Plan 2: Hongqiao Airport Highway - Suzhou east ring road - Yuehu road - Taihu tourism highway - Taihu bridge - Jintang (Xishan).  

Scheme 3: Shanghai Nanjing Expressway - Suzhou Ring Expressway (East) Luzhi direction - Suzhou Shanghai Expressway (East Mountain and west mountain of Suzhou) - Xishan exit, turn right to enter the Taihu Lake ring Avenue - go along Taihu Lake and cross Taihu Lake Bridge (three in total) - Jinting (West Mountain).  

③ Nanjing direction → Shigong mountain
