There are more than 1100 exhibits in 16 categories, There are gourd handicrafts of different styles from Xinjiang, Gansu, Shandong, Shanxi, Jiangxi, Yunnan, Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin, Liaoning and other regions in China, as well as gourd handicrafts with typical exotic customs from the United States, Brazil, Peru, South Korea, Japan, South Africa and other countries. Among them, the oldest is the bronze gourd of the Han Dynasty, which is small and exquisite with exquisite workmanship, It proves that gourd has a long history as an auspicious ornament; gourd tools such as oil hammer gourd and seed ordering gourd stand out in the eye, telling people the close relationship between gourd and human beings; the exhibits are mainly of Ben Chang gourd, including fire painting, carving, calendering, binding, modeling, needling, inlaying, color painting and other crafts, Gold, silver, copper, iron, tin, jade, stone, bamboo, wood, teeth, all kinds of materials, it can be said that at all times and in all over the world, treasures gathered, dazzling, grand. China gourd Culture Museum comprehensively and systematically displays and introduces the origin, status and role of gourd culture in Chinese traditional culture through physical exhibition, combined with words and pictures, so that people can get close to and understand gourd culture, love gourd culture, carry forward gourd culture, and promote the inheritance and development of gourd culture. The variety, quantity and scale of the exhibition collection can be rated as the largest in China, which is worthy of the name of gourd culture and art palace.

In July 2009, it was named "China gourd Culture Museum" by China Folk Artists Association.
