Yak ping

Yakniuping cableway, also known as middle cableway, has a total length of 1200 meters and a vertical elevation difference of 360 meters. You can take the cableway to the upper station yakniuping, which is 3700 meters above sea level. It is a Typical Alpine Meadow scenery and the best point to watch the thirteen peaks of Yulong Snow Mountain. Under the blue sky, the snow mountain is like a crystal clear jade dragon, facing the Haba snow mountain. Yak ping

Located at the north end of Yulong Snow Mountain scenic spot in Lijiang, it is an important part of Yulong Snow Mountain scenic spot. It starts from Liming highway in the East, faces Heishui River in the south, borders the east foot of Yulong Snow Mountain in the west, and reaches the upper part of Xuehua village in the North, covering an area of 16.6 square kilometers. Yi and Tibetan villages live in the scenic spot. The villagers make a living by animal husbandry, the folk customs are ancient, and the national cultural atmosphere is relatively strong. The landscape of Maoniuping is a typical meadow pasture. The scenery of alpine snow plain is accompanied by the Heishui river stream and the natural and quiet primeval forest landscape. It is well-organized and colorful. Maoniuping meadow is blooming in spring, green in summer, lush in autumn and plain in winter. With picturesque scenery all year round, it is an incomparable holy land for tourism, leisure and vacation.

Natural scenery

Yakniuping is a newly developed scenic spot. Because the altitude here is higher than that of yunshanping, it is more of the scenery of alpine meadow. You can clearly see the peaks of Yulong Snow Mountain standing like a sword in yakniuping. You can also drink highland barley wine, butter tea and roast yak meat in the small shops in the scenic spot. The taste is very good, In the past, you could ride horses in Maoniuping. A few years ago, all the snack bars and riding spots were canceled (there was only one place to buy snacks and snacks in the rest room). So after getting off the cable car, you had to walk along the wooden plank road to enjoy the beautiful scenery of alpine meadow and Yulong Snow Mountain.

Summer pasture

In addition to the natural scenery, it is also the summer pasture of Tibetan herdsmen at the foot of the mountain. Every spring, summer and autumn, they will drive their cattle and sheep to the mountain, and they also live in the summer cottage here. If you come at this time, you can easily enter the herdsmen's natural life state.

Starting from the Maoniuping, walking along the plank road to the west, you will arrive at Xuehua lake, a light yellow high mountain lake, where yaks concentrate on drinking water. The water here comes from yaochi, the highest point of Maoniuping. Yaochi is not big, but the water is clear. The blue sky, white clouds, snow mountains and emerald cypresses are clear on the water surface, which is beautiful.

4. There is no place to rent clothes and sell oxygen in Maoniuping. Friends in need need need to prepare in advance from Lijiang City or Ganhaizi tourist center.

5. It is suggested to walk along the wooden plank road instead of the lawn for the sake of protecting the alpine meadow and safety. There are many leeches on the meadow in rainy season.

6. After 3:30 p.m., there is no shuttle bus to Maoniuping in Ganhaizi tourist center, so it is recommended to go there in the morning or at noon.
