Xiaoqiao tomb, also known as Erqiao tomb, covers an area of 1 mu in the north of Yueyang Tower, Yueyang City, Hunan Province. In the 1970s, Xiaoqiao tomb and Yueyang Tower were recognized as national key cultural relics protection units by the state, belonging to the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

The tomb is a round mound with a trail around it and a stone fence. The buildings in the park are of brick and wood structure, covered with blue colored glass, with Jiangnan garden style.

Xiaoqiao tomb, also known as Erqiao tomb, is to the north of Yueyang Tower. According to Guangxu's "baling county annals" quoted from Ming Dynasty's "Yitong annals", the tomb of Wu Erqiao in the Three Kingdoms is located in the north of the prefecture. When Wu Sunce attacked Anhui, he got Qiao Gong and his two daughters, and he accepted big Qiao, but he returned small Qiao to Zhou Yu, and later died here. " It is also quoted from "Wu Shen Zhi" that "the tomb is in today's Guangfeng warehouse. Or Xiao Qiao from zhouyu town to Bachu, dead and buried. Big Joe shouldn't do that "Baling county annals" also states that "the town of Yuling is located in Luling County, not in today's Bachu." Pei Songzhi also annotated the annals of the Three Kingdoms, saying: "Bachu in yuliu town is Bachu County in Luling county (now in Jiangxi Province), and baling County in Changsha County in Jingzhou of Jin Dynasty (now in Yueyang City) Which is right or wrong remains to be proved.

Main attractions

Xiaoqiao cemetery is said to be the military mansion of Zhou Yu in the Three Kingdoms. The tomb was the garden of the military mansion at that time. The cemetery is quiet with luxuriant flowers and trees, and two privet trees are planted on the top of the tomb. The tombstone in front of the tomb is about one meter high, with the inscription "Xiao Qiao's tomb". Before Jiaqing of the Qing Dynasty, there was no record of the repair in the tomb. According to the annals of Baling County, in 1797, Shen Tingying, the prefect, rebuilt it. There was no record after that. It is said that in 1881, Lu Baozong, the inspector, rebuilt the tomb and replanted two privet trees. In 1993, Xiaoqiao tomb was built on the south side of the tomb, surrounded by walls. Inside the cemetery, the wall is illuminated. The front is engraved with song Su Dongpo's handwriting: "as far as Gongjin was concerned, Xiaoqiao was married for the first time, and he was very handsome.".

Ticket information

Xiaoqiao's tomb is located in Yueyang Tower Scenic Area, and the package ticket of Yueyang Tower Scenic Area is used. 80 yuan per person. Students, soldiers in active service and those holding the certificate of minimum living security for urban residents issued by the civil affairs department can buy half price tickets with valid certificates. Children less than 1.2 meters tall, the elderly over 70 years old, the disabled and the families of martyrs can get free tickets with their valid certificates.

Traffic information

Taking No.10, No.15, No.19, No.22, No.31, No.50 buses in Yueyang City can reach Junshan Island, and the transportation is very convenient.

Every year, from March to November, the boats for sightseeing in the lake go on board at Yueyang Tower wharf. There are also taxis in the city for passengers to rent.
