This fort controls the traffic of Hanxia land road and Lingshan gorge waterway. The situation is very dangerous. It has always been a place for military strategists.

brief introduction

The main building of the fort is located at the commanding height of Honggang, with the main bunker (mother bunker) as the center. On the rectangular position, four smaller bunkers (sub bunkers) are set up according to the four directions of southeast, northeast, southwest and northwest. The structure of the fort is the same as other local forts. Apart from the trench connection between Zi Mu fort and Zi Mu fort, there is a very long-span trench extending eastward from Gan Bao in the northeast. It goes through yelangheshan, xiucaikeng and shetoushan to Wenbi (demolished building), then turns south to lingshansi (demolished building), and reaches lingyangxia population. The total length of the trench is 3000 meters. The water and land roads are within the scope of its monitoring. The project is huge, and it is difficult to attack and control The combination of defense is amazing.

Lingshan fort is located in the southeast suburb of Duanzhou District, on the North Bank of the entrance to Lingyang gorge of Xijiang River. Built in 1920, it is one of the seven fortresses built by Lin Hu, the garrison envoy of zhaoluo Yang, in Zhaoqing.
