Holen River
Huolun river is a tributary of Xilin River in Songhua River system. "Huolun" is a Manchu language, which means majestic, majestic and majestic. Main tributaries

Shangliushu River mainly flows through a township of Yushugou, with a length of 10.7 km, a drainage area of 106.3 square kilometers and a slope of 10.9 ‰; xialiushu River, a main tributary, is 12.7 km, a drainage area of 74 square kilometers and a slope of 3.8 ‰;
Taoyuan River (Taoyuan River) mainly flows through a township of Xin'an, with a length of 20.8 kilometers, a drainage area of 123 square kilometers and a slope of 6.4 ‰;
Zhuqi River mainly flows through Qingsong and Qili towns, with a length of 52.1 km, a drainage area of 323 square kilometers and a slope of 3.9 ‰.

Development management
Since the Japanese imperialists occupied Northeast China in the 1930s, Japanese immigrant groups built water diversion projects along the horun River and cultivated large areas of paddy fields. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, a medium-sized reservoir (Xin'an reservoir) and 112 small reservoirs and dams have been built in the basin, with a total storage capacity of 26.5614 million cubic meters. Seven main canals have been built in the Huolun River irrigation area, with 5394 hectares of irrigated paddy fields, accounting for 47% of the total cultivated land in the basin. The irrigation area is rich in high-quality rice with sufficient water resources and complete engineering support.
General situation of River Basin
Shulan is located in the northeast of Jilin Province, at the junction of two provinces and three districts. On both sides of the river, the river produces fine and coarse sand for construction, with good quality. Since the 1970s, it has an annual output of about 200000 cubic meters and is exported to Daqing. According to the local records of Yongji County, in the Qing Dynasty, the Huolun River Basin was listed as a closed area, and the river was listed as a tribute River, which provided local aquatic products for the Qing Dynasty.
According to the toponymy of Shulan County, in laoheigou area from the southern foot of Yingbei mountain in the source area of Huolun River to guijiatun in Xin'an Township, on April 27, 1935, there was a massacre of 1017 innocent people by Japanese invaders. At the foot of Yingbei mountain stands the stone tablet of the ruins of laoheigou massacre.
