Niangniang mountain scenic spot of Xiaoqinling National Geopark is located in the southwest of Lingbao City, Henan Province, also known as Niangniang mountain. It is the easternmost end of the famous Xiaoqinling mountains.

Niangniang mountain scenic spot is located at the junction of Henan, qinjin and Shanxi provinces. It borders Luonan in Shaanxi Province in the south, Lushi and Luoning in Henan Province in the south, the Yellow River in the north, Ruicheng and Pinglu in Shanxi Province in the north, Zhengzhou, Luoyang and Sanmenxia in the East, Tongguan and Xi'an in the West, Tourism resources are very rich, 310, 209 national highway, Zhengzhou Xi'an high speed railway, Lianyungang Huojiang expressway, Longhai Railway run through the whole territory, the traffic is very convenient.

Niangniang mountain has a total area of more than 60 square kilometers. The company has 28000 Mu forest ownership certificate. The highest elevation of the scenic spot is 1563 meters. It belongs to granite landform. It completely preserves the geological relics of fault structures removed from 2.5-3 billion years ago. Now there are 38 kinds of mineral deposits. The scenic spot is full of geological wonders, and the rocks are listed, especially The "stone waterfall" is even more magnificent and a rare geological treasure house in the hinterland of the Central Plains.

Niangniang mountain is famous for its three empresses and its geological wonder "stone waterfall". The natural scenery is beautiful, and the mountains and rivers are complementary to each other. The scenery of the four seasons has their own charm, and the mountain is all inclusive. The main scenic spots are baichi waterfall, shibatan, shiwaterfall, Qinling Xueqiao, yaochi, Qixingtan, changban waterfall, Qipanshi, Niangniang Temple, etc.

Niangniang mountain is divided into six scenic spots and 29 scenic spots, among which Xueqiao scenic spot in Qinling Mountains is one of the eight old Lingbao scenic spots, and the stone Waterfall Scenic Spot is the location base of the TV drama "stone waterfall" with the same name starring Li Baotian. The danger of Niangniang mountain lies in the MA'ANQIAO section near the top of the main peak. The climber's foot is on the stone sill with a width of not more than ten feet, and the mountain wind is whistling beside his ears. The danger is no less than that of Huangshan's crucian carp back and Huashan's ear rubbing cliff. Niangniang mountain is complete, with narrow and steep ridges. The steep peaks stand abruptly. Sometimes, straight pillars and stone walls appear in the sky, towering among the clouds. At 1136 meters above sea level near the tuyere, there is a huge stone shaped thousand year old tortoise. The tortoise cover and glans are perfectly natural, neat and perfect. The tortoise body and glans face the main peak Niangniang Temple, which is called "golden tortoise pilgrimage". The independent Xifeng, with its huge granite body blown by the wind, has formed various landforms such as stone monkey watching the sky, first turtle bearing the weight, and giant dragon soaring into the sky, which is very beautiful.

Niangniang mountain gorge has a unique landform. Most of the valleys are V-shaped, with clear valleys and springs, luxuriant forests and flowers. If you are in fairyland, there are more than ten famous mountain springs, such as Xiaolongtan, mapuan spring, Heilongtan, Bailongtan, etc. Niangniang mountain lies in climbing the main peak of 1556.12 meters, overlooking to the East, Lingbao City is full of tall buildings, people and cars; to the south, Pinghu Lake is beautiful, and the narrow mouth reservoir is like a piece of Jasper inlaid among the mountains; to the west, there are snow walls and granite barriers, forming a half view of Feiliu stone waterfall; to the north, there are lush Hongnong ancient tableland, plus 60000 acres of pine and Berlin, green and yellow Muscle, clear-cut, refreshing.

Qinling Rainbow Valley

Qinling Rainbow Valley is located in Niangniang mountain, the main park of Xiaoqinling National Geopark. It starts from sanniangniang temple and ends at piaozi lake. The whole journey is about 2km. This area is just one of the famous scenic spots in Niangniang mountain, namely "stone waterfall" park. The construction of the project is mainly to use the pipelines laid in the scenic area to form fountains. The cool valley water gushes out, forming a scene of rain and fog in the south of the Yangtze River. Under the refraction of the sun, it forms rainbows, adding a sense of dream to the whole valley. The water splashes on the stone platform, making a clear sound. The rainbow is around the head, and the stream is gurgling at the foot. Although it's sunny, you can see the beautiful scenery in the rain. It's a good place to relax, relax and get close to nature.

The special geographical location makes its transportation very convenient. National Highway 310, national highway 209, Zhengzhou Xi'an high speed railway, Lianyungang Huojiang Expressway and Longhai railway all run through Lingbao.

Cultural legend

There is also a beautiful legend about Niangniang mountain. It is said that in the Han Dynasty, there were two daughters surnamed Li at the foot of the mountain. They were married at the right age. Their mother refused to marry them. Her mother said, "a woman takes her husband as her home. There is no one who will not marry for life.". The second daughter pointed to the mountain and said, "this is my husband's house.". Then he fled to the top of the mountain and left with his mother. He often called the wind and rain, and brought rain to the people. Therefore, he was also known as Fu Jia mountain. For thousands of years, the legend of Niangniang mountain has been widely spread among the people, which makes Niangniang mountain become the holy mountain in the eyes of the people in western Henan. Niangniang Temple on the top of the mountain, Huangtian tomb, laoerjuan and other landscapes all leave rich humanistic stories, which cover the mystery of Niangniang mountain.

Development history

Niangniang mountain scenic spot has been developed and constructed since 2004, with a total investment of 150 million yuan. Now it is estimated to be 358 million yuan. It is listed as "national AAA scenic spot" and "Xiaoqinling National Geopark". In 2014, according to the standard of "national AAAA scenic spot", the upgrading construction project has been completed, and the relevant acceptance work is in progress.
