History and Humanities
development history
In 1932, after the Japanese aggressors obtained the "Manchurian Railway subsidiary" in Changchun, they found that the Fengxi military government at that time controlled the water source of Changchun very tightly, which made the water source of the "Manchurian Railway subsidiary" very tight all the time. After the founding of the puppet Manchuria state, the puppet Capital Construction Bureau, with the assistance of the "Manchurian Railway", immediately investigated the water sources in Changchun, and found deep groundwater about 100 meters underground.
Below Xinlicheng is hilly terrain, and the largest river in the region is Yitong River. There is no high mountain and no reservoir on both sides of Yitong River. All the tributaries are narrow and shallow, only the small river does not dry up all the year round. In 1934, after comparing the water quality, quantity and cost, the puppet Capital Construction Bureau finally decided to build a water storage dam at a place called "yaozhan" 12 kilometers southeast of Changchun to intercept the river along the Zihe River.
In May 1934, the water storage project started, and water supply began in January 1936. The daily water supply capacity of this pool is 40000 cubic meters, exceeding the water purification capacity of Nanling water treatment plant by 20000 cubic meters. The reservoir with a surface area of 4.6 square kilometers was later named "Jingyuetan".
However, due to the small flow of the river along the Zihe River, the water supply of the puppet capital was in urgent need after five years, and only the backup water source of Huanglong Park Reservoir (intercepting the three runoff upstream of xihegou, a tributary of Yitong River, and now the South Lake of Changchun) could be used. In the last two years of the puppet capital, the Yitong River intercepted by the Xiaobanqiao sluice of Nanling waterworks was used as the main water supply source. In 1958, with the completion of Xinlicheng Reservoir, Yitong River began to supply water for Nanling waterworks, and Jingyuetan was changed into a standby water source in Changchun.

Her seventh daughter, the seven fairies, saw a young man carrying a broken umbrella and wiping tears as she walked, and she became a village girl. They fell in love at first sight and lived together. The queen mother was very angry when she learned about this, and decided to send heavenly soldiers and generals to capture the seven fairies. On this day, the sky suddenly overcast, a gust of wind will be seven fairies blowing up the sky. Looking at the hut where she and her lover lived, the seven fairies could not help but shed two lines of tears. One drop in the South turned into the Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan, and the other drop in the North turned into the pure moon lake in Changchun.
