Shijiazhuang Shitai Park was officially opened on October 1, 2005. The park is located in the northwest of our city, adjacent to Hebei Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Xiyuan District, Minxin River in the West and Shitai railway in the north. It covers a total area of 7.44 hectares, including 0.71 hectares of water area, 1.43 hectares of pavement area and 5.3 hectares of greening area.

About the park

In general, it can be divided into: main entrance area, mountain forest ecological area, aquatic ecological area and leisure fitness area. Main entrance area: located on the west side of the park, it is the main access to the park. Combined with the east facing paving square of the gate, there is a group of steep and beautiful landscape stones, which are engraved with the four characters of "Shitai Park". To the north of the square, there are two small circular platforms connected with the artificial lake, which make visitors close to the water. Wisteria is twined on the flower rack in the east of the square. Aquatic ecological zone: located in the north central part of the park, it is mainly composed of the lake. On the west side of the lake, there are four small islands in the middle of the lake, with weeping willows and Wooden Curved Bridges lying on the surface of the lake. Looking to the northeast, there is a mound with tall and green Pinus tabulaeformis and lush ginkgo trees. On the top of the hill, there is a rockery made of stone, up to 5 meters high. The water flowing from the rockery flows into the lake through the river channel, which is a combination of "dynamic" and "static". There are many kinds of aquatic plants planted in the lake, which reflect the wetland landscape and are full of natural and wild interest. Mountain forest ecological zone: located in the north of the park, the rolling terrain, planting a large number of trees and shrubs, lush, layer upon layer, "bamboo path", ginkgo tree "trestle road" landscape, leaving a good memory for visitors. Leisure and fitness area: densely covered with cobblestone small square, walking on foot can massage acupoints, good for health. The park is mainly made of plants, with rich wild interest, lush forests, pavilions, mountains, water and views, which add infinite fun to tourists.
