Hebei Science and Technology Museum (hereinafter referred to as Hebei Science and Technology Museum) is located at No.1, East Street, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. It is a provincial comprehensive science and Technology Museum under Hebei Science and Technology Association and a national second-class Museum in China. The old museum was built on December 27, 1987, and the new one was officially opened to the public on March 24, 2006

Hebei Science and Technology Museum has a building area of 12700 square meters, and the exhibition hall has a building area of 8400 square meters. It is composed of permanent exhibition hall, space theater, 4D studio and auxiliary facilities, with a total of more than 400 exhibits (sets)

The permanent exhibition hall includes "force and machinery", "electricity and magnetism", "Mathematics", "children's paradise", "world of light and shadow", "water around", "earthquake prevention and disaster reduction", "robot" and other popular science exhibition areas; space theater can show astronomical programs and scientific adventure films; 4D studio can play special effects films

In December 1999, Hebei Science and Technology Museum was awarded as "National Youth Science and technology education base" and "national science popularization education base"

On May 28, 2008, it was awarded as "leading cadre scientific quality education base"

On August 15, 2013, it was awarded as "the first batch of national social practice base of environmental education in primary and secondary schools"

Hebei Science and Technology Museum has a total investment of about 150 million yuan, a building area of 12700 square meters, and a building area of 8400 square meters. It is composed of permanent exhibition hall, space theater, 4D studio and auxiliary buildings. Opening Hours

9:30-17:00 (closed on Monday) from Tuesday to Sunday. Tickets will be closed one hour before the closing day.

The permanent exhibition hall officially opens at 9:30 a.m. every day. When the instantaneous number of visitors reaches 800, the entrance is suspended, and then the way of "every 20 people out, 20 people in" is adopted. Admission will be suspended at 16:00 p.m. every day

The permanent exhibition hall of Hebei Science and Technology Museum, public welfare science popularization lectures, science popularization drama performances and science popularization experiment performances are open free of charge. Dome movies, sky show movies and 4D movies are not free. Tickets are still required

Star show, sky show: adult 15 yuan / person, student 10 yuan / person

4D demonstration hall: 15 yuan / person above 1.2m, 10 yuan / person below 1.2m

Individual visitors are required to get the tickets with their ID card. On the same day, only 2 tickets can be obtained for each certificate. They can also make an appointment online. Visitors are required to log in to the website of Hebei Science and technology museum three days in advance to make an appointment, with 150 tickets per day. The elderly over 70 years old and the disabled can directly enter through the green channel with valid certificates.

For group (more than 30 people), the reservation must be registered with Hebei Science and technology museum 7 days in advance, with a daily limit of 200 people. No reservation is accepted during New Year's day, Spring Festival, Tomb Sweeping Day, may day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid Autumn Festival, national day, Saturday, Sunday and other legal holidays
