Located at the junction of Southern Song County and Northern Luanchuan County in Luoyang City, the Millennium capital of Luoyang City, longchipeng scenic area is a World Geopark and National Nature Reserve, famous for its ancient and primitive beauty of pools and waterfalls. Longchimian scenic spot is located in the core area of Longchiman Nature Reserve in Luoyang. It was established in 1982 with the approval of Henan Provincial People's government. The former wumasi forest farm was built in 1958. It is composed of five scattered forest areas: Yangshan, muzaling, longchimian, YangShuling and Daqing, with a total area of 7573 hectares (113600 mu) and a total forest volume of 425000 cubic meters. It belongs to forest ecological nature reserve.

Geography and climate

Longchipeng scenic spot is located at the junction of Southern Song County and Northern Luanchuan County, with coordinates of 33 ° 34 ′～ 33 ° 54 ′ N and 111 ° 47 ′～ 112 ° 15 ′ E. There are many waterfalls in the name of dragon, such as Panlong waterfall, Feilong waterfall, Wolong waterfall, Bailong waterfall, Yunlong waterfall, Jiulong waterfall, Huanglong waterfall, Qinglong waterfall, Canglong waterfall, Molong waterfall, Tianlong waterfall, etc. it is really a waterfall in three steps and one pool in five steps. Human origin

The natural scenery of Longchi scenic spot is peculiar and beautiful, and the cultural accumulation becomes mysterious and heavy. From the "Yinxin Lake" at the entrance of the scenic spot to the Longchi and Yunyan temple, there are many anecdotes and myths all the way. Under the cliff and in the dense forest, temple remains can be seen everywhere. The ruins everywhere are telling her remote and strange past in silence, making people appreciate the vicissitudes and changes of history.

According to the records of Shuijing Tongjian, Longchi was originally named Mengshan because of its precipitous mountain and turbulent waterfall. According to the records of Songxian County, in the Tang Dynasty, there was an eminent monk in Yunyan temple, a famous temple in Longchi, who said, "Zen master Zi meets bison on the way to the mountain, and he takes it with great virtue. Bison is obedient to the ground, so it is also called Funiu Mountain.". Later, it became the general name of the mountains around Longchiman. Up to now, there are still hundreds of ginkgo trees growing in Yunyan upper temple and Yunyan lower temple. After hundreds of generations of wind and rain, the God color is still the same, which is known as "the painting of Ginkgo".
