Yuexi shuifoshan hot spring, also known as Lingquan, is located in tangchifan, a hot spring town in the northern suburb of Yuexi County, Anhui Province, at the eastern foot of Dabie Mountain. It is surrounded by mountains with four pictures, low and flat in the center, humid climate and pleasant scenery. It is an ideal place for recuperation. Shuifo hot spring is one of the four historical hot springs in China, with pure and excellent water quality and abundant water. It can be compared with other historical famous springs, such as Huaqing pool in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province and dayingkou hot spring in Henan Province.

As early as the Ming Dynasty, local villagers and gentlemen dug pools at the hot springs to store water, and built simple baths for people to bathe and treat diseases. Tangchi hot spring in Yuexi is exposed in the Archean granite fault zone, with a length of 1000 meters from east to west and a width of about 20 meters. There are more than 10 hot spring spots of different sizes, which are distributed in belts, with a daily water inflow of about 1000 cubic meters. Since the Quaternary gravel layer covered by the fault zone gradually thickens from 0.6 m to more than 0.7 m from west to East, the water temperature of each spring is different, ranging from 49 ℃ to 59 ℃, with an average water temperature of 54 ℃, chromaticity less than 5 and turbidity less than 10. According to the determination, the water quality of Tangchi hot spring mainly contains sulfate ion, bicarbonate ion, sodium ion, potassium, calcium, chlorine plasma, copper, zinc, lead, manganese and other 21 trace elements. The total salinity of the spring is 228.3 mg / L, the pH value is 9.35, and the metasilicic acid content is as high as 55 mg / L, so it is a silicate mineral spring. Tangchi hot spring has three advantages: inflow, water temperature and stable chemical composition. Within 200 km around Tangchi hot spring, there is only one place with obvious resource grade advantage.

According to the characteristics of many kinds of trace elements, low content and water temperature around 49 ~ 59 ℃, Yuexi Tangchi hot spring is very suitable and ideal for medical mineral spring. After the bath, the seven fairies were exhausted, and felt refreshed and smooth. But the spirit in the water was a little less, so the seven fairies thought of their good friend, the Sleeping Buddha. He went to ask the Sleeping Buddha to give them the lotus seeds he had collected. But the Sleeping Buddha was told that he had to give them the lotus seeds.

So the seven fairies sprinkled the lotus seeds given by the Sleeping Buddha into the water. In an instant, the lotus seeds covered the whole hot spring, and the lotus pond was also full of colorful lotus flowers. It was full of vitality, like a fairyland on earth. Since then, fairies from the sky have often come here to play, and lotus ponds and hot springs have spread among the fairies. The Sleeping Buddha also heard something about it, so he came to appreciate it. He was fascinated and gradually fell into a beautiful dream. Before he woke up for a long time, the world changed, and he turned into a mountain. He was willing to be the patron saint here. Thousands of years later, the lotus withered and its leaves withered, leaving only the gurgling hot spring water and the soup pool bathed by the seven fairies to tell the beautiful story.
