The predecessor of jiangyangfan ecological park is the west lake silt dredging yard. After six years of drying, the seeds of aquatic and terrestrial plants that have been sleeping in the west lake silt for hundreds of years germinate one after another. Jiangyangfan has become a secondary wetland dominated by weeping willows and hygrophytes.
Today, jiangyangfan has become a good place for Hangzhou to get close to nature, and it is also a bit like Xixi wetland. It also has multi-level wetland landscape such as wet forest, shallow water swamp, lake and pond, and provides foraging and habitat environment for birds, fish, waterfowl, amphibians and other wild animals. The whole park is very original, without too many traces of artificial carving. The most special is the two public toilets in the park, which are open-air without ceiling. Some people joke that they can breathe the fresh air of nature even when it is convenient.
You can also stop by the Hangzhou cuisine museum next to the restaurant, where the dishes are so lifelike that you can't help but taste them.
Jiangyangfan ecological park
With the development of ecological thoughts, landscape architecture based on wild environment is gradually accepted by Western politicians and the public. Jiangyangfan ecological park is the first appearance of this kind of park in China. Based on the detailed investigation of the current situation, the designer adopts the design technique of doing nothing to preserve most of the current ecological environment of the site, and shows the process of natural evolution. Through the ingenious design, he guides the citizens to appreciate the real and changing landscape and taste a kind of indifferent and meaningful beauty.
Development history
Jiangyangfan ecological park is located in the south of Hangzhou City, Fenghuangshan Road, east of beihupaolu road. Its predecessor is the accumulation site of west lake silt dredging. The seeds of aquatic and terrestrial plants, which had been lying in the mud of West Lake for hundreds of years, germinated one after another, and jiangyangfan became a secondary wetland dominated by weeping willows and hygrophytes.
In 2008, Hangzhou decided to build the former silt reservoir into a new model of Hangzhou West Lake Ecological Park in the 21st century.
In the process of renovation, the garden culture department almost did not pull out one original ecological plant, and completely retained the original ecological vegetation. In the selection of plants for replanting, all the original varieties are selected: drunken haze like golden pheasant, elegant Pennisetum, wavy Polygonum hydropiper, red fruit spot of elderberry, wild and natural Persian chrysanthemum, etc., which are integrated with the willow growing naturally in the mud of West Lake.
Main attractions
As a matter of fact, jiangyangfan ecological park, like Xixi wetland, is also a good place for Hangzhou to get close to nature. It also has multi-level wetland landscape such as wet forest, shallow water swamp, lake and pond, and provides foraging and habitat environment for birds, fish, waterfowl, amphibians and other wild animals.
In addition, the construction of houses and roads in the park is based on ecology. Most of the roads are gravel roads, and the load-bearing materials of infrastructure in the park are recyclable materials.
The most special one is the two public toilets in the park, which are open-air without ceiling. Some people joke that they can breathe the fresh air of nature even when it is convenient.
In addition, there are 78 popular science cards in jiangyangfan ecological park, and the tourist center is equipped with complete service facilities, including induction e-book, live scene communication system, etc. The feature film of jiangyangfan ecological park played in the exhibition hall shows the past, under construction and after construction of jiangyangfan.
Comments from all walks of life
In China, people's appreciation of traditional famous flowers has lasted for thousands of years, and the aesthetic appreciation of wild flowers and weeds has not yet been established. It is an almost impossible idea to preserve the wilderness and transform it into an urban park. In the era of gorgeous renderings and gorgeous 3D animation, who will take the status quo photos to let party a pay for them? In 2010, Hangzhou jiangyangfan ecological park, designed by Duoyi landscape, gives us a surprise. A new design mode and aesthetic sentiment may start from here.
Do without doing
Hangzhou jiangyangjie ecological park is located at the south foot of Yuhuang mountain in the West Lake scenic area. It is a valley surrounded by mountains on three sides. From 1999 to 2003, the sludge from the West Lake was dredged several times and then transported here by pipeline. With the passage of time, the surface water content of the silt gradually decreased, but the plant seeds deposited in the silt began to germinate and grow freely, presenting a disordered but full of vitality wilderness landscape.
When the government decided to turn the wasteland, which is only one or two kilometers away from the West Lake, adjacent to baguatian and Guanyao in the Southern Song Dynasty, into an urban park, too many ideas would come out of the designer's mind: the past dredging of the West Lake in history has brought important changes in the landscape pattern of the scenic spot, such as Baidi, SUDI and Zhaogong Di in the distance, Taiziwan Park in the near, and mountain like water The integration of potential and the configuration of horticultural plants have become the classics of gardening practice. How does jiangyangfan use the site silt to build mountains and water, and what plants are introduced to landscape? Beside the base site, there are historical remains of Wuyue state and the capital of Southern Song Dynasty. How can jiangyangfan echo the history and reflect the context? How to meet the needs of tourists safely and effectively? Such problems may make designers unable to start, or too many choices to grasp its core value.
Laozi said that "Tao always does nothing but does everything", that is, it does not interfere, does not change, and goes with the flow. Faced with such a complex situation and such a heavy historical burden, the designers of polysemy landscape boldly adopted such a inaction design method: retaining most of the current situation of the site, enclosing a number of secondary plant communities with recyclable rust plates, floating on the mud with a zigzag wooden plank road, passing through the wet forest land, shallow swamp and pond bubble.
This is just like what Lao Tzu said: "Cuan is a tool. When it is not available, it can be used as a tool. If you chisel a house into a room, you can use it as a room instead of a room. " The silt secondary plant community enclosed by the rust plate began to appear in front of people as a kind of existence with a sense of field, which was called "Habitat island"; the wild trees, wild flowers and marsh water plants on both sides of the plank road suddenly became accessible, and people could not help but pay attention to them. Because of the designer's intervention, these are the most common and useless on-the-spot relics, which people are familiar with but don't see. They change from "nothing" to "have", which is beneficial and useful. In terms of maintenance and management, in addition to the necessary road cleaning, to maintain the original ecosystem of the base, to let these organisms survive and die on their own, and to maintain themselves, there is no need to manually invest a lot of water, energy, pesticides and chemical fertilizers for maintenance like other parks.
Inaction is not inaction, but "Inaction". Inaction is a kind of deep action.
Tasteless taste
Closely connected with "Inaction" is "tasteless". Laozi said that "the outlet of Tao is tasteless.". Taste is a special category of Chinese classical aesthetics and a unique concept in the history of Chinese ancient literary criticism. The highest realm of literature and art is "light", is "nothing", is "tasteless". The tasteless taste is the best. Jiangyangfan ecological park brings visitors a kind of "light" flavor, but the flavor is implicit but meaningful, fresh but long, which is worth tasting and aftertaste.
Ecological environment
Different from the introduction of wild flowers and grasses to imitate and reproduce the original ecological environment, the wild life of jiangyangfan ecological park is natural and accumulated over time. It presents the natural succession process of secondary and hygrophytic vegetation nourished by west lake silt to tourists as a unique landscape and habitat.
Jiangyangfan ecological park is located in the valley surrounded by mountains. There are lush forests on the mountain, towering trees to block out the sun, but the valley is looming puddles, whirling reeds, swaying wild flowers and green willows. Because of historical coincidence, there are harmonious and independent vegetation communities in the park, showing different life styles The beauty of environment is the designer's first discovery, reservation and enhancement of this kind of beauty.
Among them, the most striking ones are the thin, long and wanton growth of Nanchuan willows, which are quite different from Baidi willow, which has been favored by thousands of people on the edge of West Lake. The uneven branches stretch out and slant out, interweaving with each other in the mottled light and shadow. There is a solid in the hazy, a beautiful in the solid, and a vigorous information of life is bursting out irresistibly, like The rhythmic lines in Wu Guanzhong's ink and wash abstract paintings are so harmonious and fascinating.
The original ecological environment has also retained the original "residents": damselflies, dragonflies, butterflies, crabs, turtles, egrets and white wagons\_ The small animals that originally inhabited here, such as black water fowl and so on, did not "leave their hometown" because of the construction of the park. On the contrary, because of the extra protection of the park, they have multiplied more. With the help of those vivid and interesting science popularization signs, visitors can observe them closer and understand them more comprehensively. The children, in particular, are less playful, more curious and interested in learning in the jiangyangfan ecological park, while their parents patiently explain the contents of the signs. There are many wildlife lovers holding "long guns and short cannons" waiting quietly in a corner, waiting for the moment when egrets fly or butterflies flutter on the wild flowers.
In my opinion, one of the most successful highlights of jiangyangfan park is to show the true beauty of nature and change people's aesthetic taste and garden visiting habits.
