Motan waterfall is located in Tianma village, Xiema Town, Beibei District, Chongqing. It can be reached by the road from Beibei city to Xiema town. It is 10 kilometers away from Beibei city. It is a waterfall type natural scenic spot. Because it is located in gaokengyan at the end of Longfeng River, it is also called gaokengyan waterfall.

During the Anti Japanese War, Sun Ke, son of Sun Yat Sen and President of the Legislative Yuan of the national government, built a villa here.

Damotan waterfall is a Xuanyan waterfall, 62 meters wide and 38 meters high. It has thousands of Bailian waterfalls, colorful, majestic and thunderous roars.

In the middle of the hanging waterfall, there is a man-made cave, which is closed with stone slabs, so people can't enter.

On the right side, there are two stone houses, which are made of artificial rock drilling. They are 6 meters long, 3 meters wide and 2.5 meters high. Once up and down, the two houses are connected. There are stone windows in the lower house, and you can see the waterfall.

There is a stone cave on the left side, which can only be entered by climbing to huangjueshu on the cliff. It is the place where the common people took refuge from the banditry.

The forest on the left side of the waterfall is verdant and blocks out the sun; the farmland on the right side of the waterfall is closely connected with the peach blossom mountain. When the peach blossom is in full bloom, the scenery is beautiful; there is a deep pool under the waterfall, with a depth of more than ten meters and a width of more than 100 meters, rippling with blue waves, clear to the bottom and paddle among them, making people linger.

Several hundred meters below the waterfall, there is another xiaokengyan waterfall. The waterfall is 8 meters high and 40 meters wide. There is a stone bridge built on the waterfall. The water strikes the rocks under the bridge, the spray splashes, and the water mist is boundless. It is very interesting.

There is a sandbar in the middle of the river. Birds gather on the sandbar.

There is a mountain on the left bank, cut off by the river. The mountain is precipitous, and the ancient bamboos on the right bank become forests. The scenery is rare.
