Heluo confluence scenic spot is located at the intersection of the Yellow River and Luohe River in Shenbei village, Heluo Town, Gongyi City. It is a newly developed scenic spot, about 10 kilometers away from Gongyi City.
Heluo culture has been the source of Chinese culture since ancient times. It is said that this is the place where he Chu Tu, Luo Chu Shu and Fuxi painted eight trigrams. According to historical records, when Emperor Huang, Emperor Yao, Yu Shun, Xia Yu, Shang Tang, King Cheng of Zhou and Duke of Zhou ascended the throne, they all sank to the wall to worship heaven. Therefore, Heluo area has an extremely important position in history, attracting literati, social sages, Chinese and foreign celebrities to come here to reminisce and write poems, leaving a large number of Fu and poems, forming an extremely rich Heluo culture. At the same time, the landscape here is very beautiful. According to the records of Gong county in the 10th year of Qianlong reign, there are eight sceneries in the county, including four sceneries in this area: shigu Yiliu, spring outing in Luokou, autumn breeze in mangling and night bell in grottoes. When you reach the top of Shendu mountain, you can have a panoramic view of the confluence of Heluo river. Looking west at the Yellow River, the turbid waves are surging, and the water comes from the sky and flows eastward. Looking south at Yiluo, the two rivers are clear and turbid.
There is no ticket for the scenic spot. You can take a tour bus to the South Gate of yongzhaoling, 12 kilometers away from the city.
