Yueshan Temple scenic area is located in the South Gate of the Yellow River scenic area, facing the towering Yueshan temple. According to the records of Xingze county annals, it used to be a place with luxuriant forests and bamboos, green pines and cypresses, temples and pilgrims.

In 1952, Chairman Mao Zedong inspected the Yellow River here and gazed at the Yellow River from the Xiaoding mountain of Yueshan temple. He called on the Yellow River to be well managed. In order to commemorate Chairman Mao's inspection of the Yellow River, the Yellow River scenic spot, on the occasion of Chairman Mao's 111th birthday, placed a statue of chairman in the place where Chairman Mao inspected the Yellow River. The statue was cast in bronze, 3.8 meters high. The statue of Chairman Mao was in high spirits, facing the Yellow River and reappearing the style of inspecting the Yellow River that year. In the main peak area of feifengling, there is a large-scale, unique style, 36 meters high three-story tower building - floating Pavilion. The walls of the pavilion are carved and painted, and an ancient clock is attached to the top of the pavilion. The "ancient temple bell" can be heard for tens of miles.

Between the cliffs of Yueshan mountain, a wohong bridge, 40 meters long and 35 meters high, flies away. The road under the bridge is full of water and people come and go. The grand and elegant archways at both ends of the bridge stand tall. Beside the couplets on the tower pillars, there are "spring breeze blowing me through the clouds, autumn mountains welcoming guests and driving through the fog". The couplets on the front of the bridge are "flying on the clouds". On one side, he said, "if you want to be in the middle of the clouds, if you don't have the courage to look at the people in the sky," and the Ying forehead said, "people are in the sky.".
