Cambridge building
Cambridge building is located at No.24 Chongqing Road, Heping District. It is a historic building with general protection level and is now a residential building. The building was built in 1936. It is an apartment type residential building designed by Austrian architect Gai Ling. Because it is close to Cambridge Road in the British concession (now Chongqing Road), it is named Cambridge building.

The building is divided into two buildings, covering an area of about 1600 square meters and a construction area of about 3200 square meters. It is a four story building with mixed structure. The external eaves are clean water walls and some are mixed with water. The outer eaves are decorated with full-length concrete slabs, as well as window sills and awnings, reflecting the light structural beauty of modern architecture. The room layout is reasonable and the warm and sanitary facilities are complete. It has typical characteristics of modern architecture.
