The development of textile industry in Changjing has a long history. In the Ming Dynasty, there were a large number of hand-made cotton weavers in Changjing, which was even more prosperous in the Qing Dynasty. Every family had simple textile tools, such as self spinning, self warp, self weaving and local dyeing. Most of them are woven into a piece of cloth, which is 2.4 meters long and 0.8 meters wide. In the Qing Dynasty, foreign yarn and cloth began to appear on the market. After liberation, Changjing waste spinning station (processing waste spinning roving for Jiangyin textile company) was established in 1956. In the autumn of 1958, Changjing people's commune built another Changjing textile factory. In the 1980s, the cotton textile industry in Changjing flourished, and then developed into chemical fiber, wool spinning, knitting and so on. In 1985, the spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing of Changjing has begun to take shape. In particular, the "Hongyan" brand rabbit wool yarn, knitting yarn, coarse woolen cloth and maiden cloth of Jingnan village of Changjing have been sold in 14 provinces, Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai. After decades of market baptism and tempering, the textile industry has become the pillar industry of Changjing, with the emergence of Kangyuan group and Yongxin weaving and dyeing It has cultivated a number of famous brand products represented by "Yongxin" and "Heyue", and Changjing's textile products have gone abroad to the world
