Santiaoshi Historical Museum
Located at No. 5, Museum Street, Hongqiao District, the santiaoshi historical museum was built in 1959. The original site is Nie Shicheng ancestral hall. It was damaged in the 1976 earthquake. "Santiaoshi History Museum" was officially opened on September 27, 1959. The title of the museum was written by Premier Zhou Enlai himself.

Development history
The voice of industry in Tianjin was first transmitted from the stone road of three stones. In 1959, it was opened as the "three stone History Museum" and officially opened on September 27, 1959. Premier Zhou Enlai personally nominated the museum. It is a local professional museum based on the development history of national cast iron machine manufacturing industry in santaoshi area. The original site is Nie Shicheng ancestral hall. It was damaged in the 1976 earthquake.

This is a local professional museum with the development history of local national cast iron machine manufacturing industry as the basic display content. With full and accurate historical materials, rich cultural relics and photos, the exhibition vividly introduces the rise and characteristics of iron industry workshops in santaoshi area, and describes the historical process of the rise and fall of iron casting and machinery industry in santaoshi area. It typically reflects the difficult and slow development of Chinese national industry under the pressure of three mountains. More than 2900 objects were on display.

Relevant background
The three blacksmiths served by Shike are gathered here seasonally, which is a triangle composed of guide, North Canal and Hebei Street. With convenient water and land transportation, they are the birthplace of early cast iron and machine industry in Tianjin. As early as 1860, there were boatmen and merchants here. After 1860, Qin jitiepu, the first handicraft workshop, settled here. It was the earliest cast iron handicraft workshop at that time. In 1900, after the opening of Tianjin port, the iron industry in santiaoshi area appeared the iron manufacturing which served the construction facilities of foreign concession. From 1915 to 1930, the development of santiaoshi area reached its prosperous period. From the initial processing and supporting production, it was gradually divided into two industries: cast iron industry and machinery industry. Before 1937, there were more than 300 small factories in this small area. After the "7.7 incident", the self-development of the "two industries" in santaoshi area was destroyed, and the cast iron and machine industries were extremely declining and dying. After the birth of new China, the industry of santaoshi area was able to recover and develop, and became an effective force of machine industry in Tianjin and even North China. Santiaoshi History Museum records the history of the formation, development and decline of the cast iron and machine industry in santiaoshi area, the epitome of the early national industry in the past 90 years, which proves that only socialism can save China.
Santiaoshi area refers to the triangle formed by the South and North canals and Hebei Street, covering an area of about 730 mu. With convenient water and land transportation, Tianjin was a prosperous place for early commerce and trade. There were blacksmiths who served boatmen and merchants before 1860. After that, the first manual workshop, Qinji Tiepu, settled here and became the earliest cast iron workshop.
From 1915 to 1930, the cast iron and machine industry in santaoshi area developed rapidly. At its peak, it was obviously divided into two industries: cast iron industry and machine industry. In order to expand the scale of many iron works, they vie to set up semicolons in Tianjin and other places. Before 1937, there were about 300 "two industries" factories in santaoshi, which became the famous "Tiechang Street" at that time
