Panyu children's Park is the largest district level public welfare children's Park in Guangzhou. It is built by the District Urban Management Bureau as the owner and the District infrastructure office as the agent. The park is located in the west of Dabei road in Panyu District, adjacent to Yingxing middle road in the north, and located in the north of Panyu central city. The park covers a total area of about 50.3 hectares, with a total landscape area of about 42.3 hectares, including water area of about 1.6 hectares and land ecological landscape area of about 40.7 hectares. Panyu children's Park is positioned as a public welfare park.

The planning and design concept of Panyu children's Park is to express the traditional essence of Lingnan Garden with modern methods and Panyu water characteristic elements, and to create a new humanistic landscape and urban children's park with regional characteristics.

The theme of Panyu children's Park - "sunshine childhood in Lingnan water town" is designed with the concept of hydrophilic, ecological, popular science and wild fun; based on the principles of entertainment, education, fitness, ecology and safety, and fully aiming at the physical and mental needs of children's sunshine growth, a children's theme park with characteristics serving 0-12 years old is built. The functional areas initially planned to be built include children's paradise, leisure area, fitness area, children's palace, science popularization area and exploration area. There are 36 kinds of interesting activities in the central area of children's paradise, including cartoon Castle Square, children's sand pool, big lawn, graffiti wall, small train, mushroom Castle farm, characteristic overpass, melon and fruit corridor, love tunnel, jungle plank road, mountain maze, professional experience center, water gun battle, CSC jungle field battle, etc.

Panyu children's park makes full use of the current situation to protect the mountain ecology. Through the integration of the current rivers, rivers and lakes, it can increase the ornamental value of the lake, improve the water quality and landscape effect. At the same time, it integrates the landscape elements of Lingnan water town with the greening foundation of Chengbei park to create an important leisure space for urban activities.

The construction of Panyu children's Park is a major strategic measure to improve the people's livelihood facilities and improve the quality of the citizens in Panyu District. The completion of the children's Park will provide Panyu children with a strong physique, happy learning, learning and exploration place in the natural environment of Lingnan water town, and create a good childhood memory base for Panyu children to love their hometown and grow up in the sunshine.

The District infrastructure office is actively coordinating and overcoming difficulties. According to the unified deployment requirements and time nodes of the municipal government, and in accordance with the infrastructure procedures, the District infrastructure office is accelerating the preliminary work of project approval, environmental impact assessment, design, project site selection proposal, land use pre examination, and construction land planning license, striving to start construction before September 30, 2013.
