Fanfang Liuli Street
Located in the southeast of Xuanwu District. From luomashi street in the north to nanheng East Street in the south. Originally known as Fanfang Liujia street.
In the early Ming Dynasty, Chengjie street was called Fanfang Liujia street, where the Lius, who made vermicelli, lived. It was called Fenfang street in the early Qing Dynasty. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, it was renamed today. According to the manuscript of Beijing's Fang Xiang annals, "it is also true that Zhang Zhi made the powder room in Daxing and Liu's family."
Yongle temple has been demolished at No.38 on the north side of the street. Luxi limchin hall. It is said that Feng Zicai, a veteran general during the Sino French war, once lived here. Chen Mingshu, one of the leaders of the guild hall, is a member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee. No. 115 South Street is the new Huiyi Museum in Guangdong. Liang Qichao, the main figure of the reform movement of 1898, married in the north room of the central courtyard in the museum, but his room still exists. Chen zhaolun, a scholar of the Qing Dynasty, Zhang pengdan, a painter, Zhou Changfa, and Qi Zhaonan, a writer, once lived in this street. On both sides of the street, there are rows of Sophora japonica trees, forming an arch shape. It is cool in summer and is a favorite place for pedestrians.
