Ruyi Island

Ruyi island is located at the north end of Zhijing Yundi, a summer resort. It is an island in the lake. It is named after Ruyi because it looks like Ruyi. Before the 50th year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty (1711), it was a palace area with an area of 35000 square meters. It was the largest island and one of the main scenic spots in the villa. Twelve of the 72 scenes of Kangxi and Qianlong were here.
