Shimao kuanhouli Jinan kuanhouli, also known as Jinan kuanhouli and Shimao kuanhouli, is located in the core area of Quancheng road in Jinan City. Kuanhousuo street in old Jinan is a century old Qilu historical block built by Shimao Co., Ltd. in order to continue the traditional vocabulary of architecture and folk custom in old Jinan City, which is a dialogue between Mao and street, shared by river and city, echoed by river and city, integrated by spring and water, and integrated by history and modern.

Historical development

In the story of kuanhouli, we have to mention a street called "Sanqu lane". According to the memories of the old Jinan people, the north end of Sanqu lane is located more than ten meters west of the intersection of lishengjie and kuanhousuo street, and its south end exit is heihuquan West Road (about the location of the outer square of kuanhouli). In the autumn of 1948, the Chinese people's Liberation Army opened a gap from the southeast corner of the old city wall of Jinan. The first thing to liberate was Sanqu lane. In addition to this red memory, it also has a special scene called "two mountains with one well". What we are talking about here is not a well between two mountains, but an old well between the gables of two houses in the alley. At that time, the black tiger spring was not built into a pool, it was just a "small mire". The residents nearby preferred to come to "two mountains with a well" to get water, and the well water was clear and sweet.

"If the two families fight for one wall, why not let him be five feet. We should not forget to live in good neighborhoods, but we should be generous to our parents. " There is a saying that the name of kuanhousuo Street comes from this poem. It is said that in the early Qing Dynasty, kuanhouli was a place where dignitaries and dignitaries lived together. At that time, it was popular to expand the courtyard to show their style. The residents continued to expand the courtyard to the road, and wanted to circle the Limited Street into their own courtyard. Among them, two families, from fighting for a wall to giving way to each other, became models of neighborhood harmony, and the neighbors followed suit one after another, so "giving way" became a street. Another way to say it is that there used to be a charity called kuanhousuo in the south of jiexishou Road, hence the name kuanhousuo street.

The old people say that the old streets and alleys in Jinan are "nine streets, eighteen alleys and seventy-two Alleys". Local people are familiar with the way after they go in, while outsiders are easy to get lost when they go in. The kuanhousuo block in the past also has such problems. In the process of re planning, out of respect and protection for the ancient streets and buildings in Jinan, Jinjia courtyard and Zhejiang Fujian guild hall, as provincial cultural relics protection units, were completely preserved. In the process of construction, the Ming Dynasty xiaowangfu site was also preserved under the glass floor of Wangfu square for tourists to visit.

In 2015, kuanhousuo District ushered in a new life and changed into "kuanhouli". In four or five years, kuanhouli district has become Jinan's network red punch in place. History and modernity collide here. City and culture are compatible here. It is writing new history in a new form.
