Gaman Mosque

Located in the urban area of Hotan City, gaman mosque is one of the largest mosques in Hotan city. The temple was built in 1875 and rebuilt at the original site in 1997.

The temple is a typical Uyghur architectural form, and its remarkable feature is that the patterns of the renovated buildings are inlaid with earth yellow bricks, and the patterns are exquisite and meticulous, which makes people admire the exquisite craftsmanship of Uyghur. The two tower columns of the gate tower are different from the general similar round tower columns. The tower columns are polygonal, with various patterns inlaid with yellow bricks, making the tower more solemn and straight. Another is that the top of the hall is not a common flat roof, but a dome, which is made of wood materials.
