Jinsha Temple
Shishi Jinsha Temple (Grand Buddha Palace) is located in the city of Shishi. It was built from small to large. It has been repaired in all dynasties. Jinsha nunnery was not a temple. It was called Dongjing luting in Sui Dynasty. It was changed into a temple to worship the Buddha at the end of Yuan Dynasty.
In the early period of the Republic of China, Zhuo xizi'an, the master of Miaozhi in Chengtian temple, Quanzhou, was invited to visit the temple. The Buddhist temple was Zenghui, and the ten sides were good at believing and worshiping, which made the temple prosperous. Due to a long time, years of disrepair, pillars corrosion, Buddha peeling. Initiated by abbot baoxinshi in 1985, believers at home and abroad generously donated money to restore the original appearance of the historic site. In addition to Dingxin's main hall and front hall, a new releasing pool was built. In 2003, an additional Mountain Gate was built.
The Jinsha nunnery has been under constant repair for generations. Due to its low terrain, once it encounters rain, the accumulated water will gradually subside for several days. The Management Committee of Jinsha nunnery decided to rebuild it again in 2005.
Since the completion of the reconstruction of Jinsha temple and the celebration of the opening of the Buddha statue, the millennium old temple has taken on a new look again.
