Manjusri Pavilion
The newly built "Manjusri Pavilion" in Chengdu Manjusri courtyard is another large-scale main building after the start-up and resurgence of Manjusri courtyard. It is majestic, elegant and simple in shape, and novel and rich in functions. It stands at the end of the central axis of Manjusri, with a total area of more than 4000 square meters.
Manjusri Pavilion and Manjusri building (upper Hall), which were built at the end of 1997, have been successfully completed (the ground floor of the two floors are underground parking garage), which can be called the typical grand buildings of modern temples, reflecting the characteristics of modern temple architecture. The Manjusri Pavilion covers an area of 1000m2. The first floor is the Manjusri lecture hall, which is a large audio-visual lecture hall. The second floor is the Buddhist Library and reading room of Chengdu Manjusri Academy (E-reading room, Internet Buddhism). The third floor is the lotus seat of Manjusri hall, which is dedicated to the great wisdom Manjusri Bodhisattva and the parents of believers. Manjusri house can provide accommodation for monks and lay people (believers).
The completion of Manjusri Pavilion ended the history of Manjusri temple without Manjusri Bodhisattva hall, and realized the long cherished wish of monks and residents. In order to build the Manjusri Pavilion into another precious Buddhist cultural holy land, the Manjusri academy has repeatedly studied and demonstrated, reported to the minzong Committee of Chengdu municipal government for approval, and decided to build the Manjusri Pavilion into a four storey "blissful hall", "Konglin lecture hall", "Konglin Buddhist Library" and "Wanfo hall" from bottom to top.
