Muchuan Bamboo Sea

Muchuan bamboo sea is located in the southeast of Muchuan County, Yongfu town on national highway 213, 20 kilometers away from Muchuan County, 120 kilometers away from Leshan, and more than 200 kilometers away from Chengdu. The total area of the scenic spot is more than 50 square kilometers. It belongs to Danxia landform with an average altitude of 450 meters. The bamboo forest area in the central tourist area is more than 10 square kilometers. There are more than 100000 mu of Neosinocalamus affinis between the rolling mountains and river valleys. The breeze blows, green waves ripple, meandering into waves, and there is no end in sight, so it is called the bamboo sea.

There are more than 70 scenic spots, such as Xiaodong flying rainbow, chuandongzi jiutuoshibatan, Yongxing lake, Yongxing temple, Taoyuan cave, wild monkey, squirrel and Alsophila spinulosa. The boundless bamboo sea is rippling with blue waves. Watching the sunrise and listening to the sound of the waves make people enjoy themselves and forget to return. At the same time, the "Bamboo Sea" has fresh air all year round and is known as the "natural oxygen bar".

Development history

On January 2, 2014, honghang group won the 50 year management right of Sichuan Muchuan Bamboo Sea Scenic Spot, and started to create a 4A scenic spot in February

. Honghang Group Co., Ltd. will invest 1 billion yuan to build Muchuan bamboo sea scenic spot. The project will be completed in three phases, with a total investment of 310.37 million yuan in the first phase. The investment will be completed before 2015, and the whole project is expected to be officially completed before 2020.

The core attractions are: Xiaodong Feihong, yinyinyan, Yongxing lake, Shuiyue wind tunnel, Guanhai building, Shenlong pool, etc.

Muchuan bamboo sea is a national AAA scenic spot. The content of negative oxygen ions near "Xiaodong Feihong waterfall" is very high, which is beneficial to human health. In addition, its unique natural beauty has won increasing favor from tourists inside and outside the province.

Muchuan Bamboo Sea belongs to Danxia landform. The scenic spot is located in muyuanchuan Road, an important branch of the South Silk Road, with profound historical and cultural heritage. In the Three Kingdoms period, Zhuge Liang went to Sanyan village, the first fortress in the south. In the Southern Song Dynasty, there was a military stronghold. In the middle of the Qing Dynasty, it was a concentrated production place of local paper. The allusions of Chen Hanlin and huangbangyan, Han Xiangzi's Flute and eight immortals gathering add new meaning to the scenic spot. The combination of the unique forest and bamboo scenery and Danxia landform makes Muchuan bamboo sea an ideal place for leisure, sightseeing and summer vacation, and the pursuit of ancient post road, ancient stockade and ancient military city wall.

Transportation guide

Chengdu passes through Chengle Expressway to Leyi Expressway to Qianwei Nanxia expressway, passes through national highway 213 to Muchuan County, and 20 kilometers from Muchuan county to Muchuan bamboo sea scenic spot. The road condition is good, with all cement pavement. Zhuhai Road is gravel road with narrow width.
