history
The chanyue temple in Hemudu town was built in the chiwu period of the Three Kingdoms. It was built by Wu Guotai, the mother of Sun Quan. It has a history of 2000 years. The existing buildings were rebuilt in Qing Dynasty. Stepping on the cobblestone path, you enter the valley of Qingxi, but you can see that the temple is inlaid in the green pine and bamboo and the red azalea. Covered with clouds and wisps of cigarettes. No wonder Tang Dynasty poet Meng Jiao also sang the praise of "Qingxi wanzhuanshui, Xiuzhu wandering wind".
There is a mountain near chanyue temple called Danyu mountain. According to Cixi County annals of Guangxu, it is 40 Li southwest of the county and 50 Li in Chenghua Prefecture annals according to Tianqi annals. It is also called Chanyu mountain and has a Buddha house. Jiajing Fu Zhi said: there is Yue Wang Village in the northeast. In the Qing Dynasty, Shi Shizhen looked at the poem from Shan Yu's mountain in the evening: "when you look back at the mouth of the valley, there are groups of returning Hongs. The east of the stream is full of clouds and rain, and the west of the stream is full of clouds and rain. The bell in the temple is heard outside the temple, and the rain passes through the mountains."
According to Cixi County annals, there are three famous springs here. In the southwest of the county, there are hundreds of people drinking ascites at the foot of the mountain. In case of drought, there is a flood spring. In April of the 14th year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, cicadas were suddenly seen at the cave gate, and then disappeared. In May, there was a flood. (Shan Yu Temple annals) records: a brief account of shishizhen Sanquan in the Qing Dynasty: "Zen in the mountain is thin and stony, and the unearthed stone is hard, but the stone is not crisp. The earth is named doubing stone. There is chanyue temple at the end of the mountain, and the spring on the left is more than Zhang deep, so it's called Xiangji spring. The spring on the right is not several feet deep, so it's called Zhuming spring. It doesn't overflow in the rain, and doesn't dry up in the drought. When sengmu Juyong gets a small hole at the foot of the mountain, it can't move or move to the right or to the side If you can dig a canal, it will stop. It's like a lion's milk, so it's called the drip spring. "
In ancient times, Zen Yue Temple was full of incense, with hundreds of monks and dozens of monks. It is a large-scale temple in chepeng'ao. There is an existing main hall with wing rooms on both sides, and there are more than ten new Buddha statues in the temple, which are expected to be redeveloped.
Surrounding scenic spots
Two li away from the temple, there is a Longtan, also known as the narrow pit Longtan or Fawu Tan, which means that the water evaporates and the fog is hazy, rather like a fairyland. The pool water flows down the mountain and falls from the wild mountains to form a waterfall, which is magnificent. According to the records of Chan Yue Temple, in ancient times, Longtan was divided into three springs. The left spring was more than Zhang deep, which was used by monks in the temple to draw water and cook. It was named Xiangji spring. The right spring is not several feet deep. It is the water for tea frying in the temple, so it is called Zhuming spring. There is also a spring seeping from a small hole in a stone crevice, trickling all the year round. The spring eye often shifts to the left or right, which is unpredictable. For example, if a channel is dug to drain, the spring water will flow, just like the milk of a lioness. It is rare, so it is called drip spring.
