Yazhuang village, Xinchang

Yazhuang village is located in Xinchang, Shaoxing. The Chuanyan mountain in the east of the village is a rare Danxia Landform in China. In the Song Dynasty, Wang Huo ran back and forth through the rocks. Seeing its beautiful mountains and rivers, he wrote a poem to praise it and established a name for the nineteen peaks. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, scholars have been chanting a lot. During this period, the mountains are straight and beautiful, the caves are deep and wide, the valleys are deep, the rocks are strange, the springs are clear, the waterfalls are elegant, and the scenery is different. The incense burner, cable boat, saddle, bride, chessboard, Zhuojian and Wanghai peaks in the back mountain of the village, with thousands of Xiabi and haze in the sky; the jade tower hanging through the cave; the guanghanyue hall hidden in the Bailang cave; the flag peak fluttering in the wind; the Lion Peak magnificent; each with its own charm. There are large and small terraces on the top of the mountain, hundreds of Mu in size, which constitute the high-altitude countryside. The steep mountains circle between the cliffs, with Jianmen TIANTI; the peaks are connected by bird paths, with cliff cloud stacks; the river flows around the foothills, reflecting the mountain light. The river valley is flat and the fields are crisscross, the ditches are intricate, the bamboos and willows, the peaches and plums are hidden, the small bridges and the flowing water make people interesting.

Since 1978, leaders and experts at all levels of provinces, cities, counties and towns have visited the villages for many times. They praise Yangshuo as better than Yangshuo. In 1991, it was rated as a provincial scenic spot.
