Xiashan park is located in the south foot of Xiashan mountain in the southwest of Jingan Town, Doumen district. It is named "Xiashan Park" because of Xiashan mountain. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and there is an artificial lake in the middle. Xiashan Park was founded in 1979. In 2003, the Doumen district government invested more than 6 million yuan to transform Xiashan park. At the same time, various sports and entertainment facilities were added, such as gate court, Diaoyutai, lotus pond, quyi club, chess and card room, calligraphy association and other entertainment venues. At present, the total area of the park is about 160 mu, of which the land area is about 25 mu, the water area in the lake is about 135 mu, and the Shuini road around the lake is 1.4 km.

Introduction to scenic spots

The main gate square of Xiashan park is only one way away from the Party School of Doumen district. When you come to the square, you will first see a pair of powerful stone lions guarding on both sides of the park gate. There is a large inclined platform in the middle, on which the four bold characters of "Xiashan Park" stand out. On the left side of the square is a newly built open-air bar that never sleeps. The European style white cloth sail in front of the bar adds a bit of European style to the park. On the right side of the square, a three story hexagonal building is built against the lake. When you stand upstairs and look down, you can see the clear water of the lake. This is the well-known "Qingbo building" in Jingan city. The former Qingbo building was used as a restaurant. After reconstruction, it has now become a place for entertainment. The first floor is "Xiashan quyi club", Every night, Cantonese opera enthusiasts gather here to sing Cantonese Opera in the sound of gongs and drums. Sometimes the members of the quyi Club bring the rehearsed programs to the countryside to perform, which enriches the cultural life of rural people. The second floor is the seat of the Chinese Chess Association, which provides chess, poker, sparrow and other entertainment tools for people's entertainment. The third floor is where calligraphy and art exhibitions are held. After the square in front of Qingbo building, walk along the Huanhu Road, not far away is "xiashanmen Stadium". The most attractive place in Xiashan park is the artificial lake. It is like a huge oval emerald inlaid in the center of the park. It is green and clear. The artificial lake is just like the symbol of Xiashan Park, so people often call Xiashan park an artificial lake. On the lake, a three arch Shuini stone slab bridge crosses the center of the artificial lake. From a distance, it looks like a jade belt connecting the two sides of the artificial lake. People walk across the bridge, looking up at the green mountains, looking down at the green lake, as if in a fairyland. In the middle of the lake stands a double topped Pavilion. A white zigzag bridge is the link between the pavilion and the lake bank. People can come to the center of the lake through this link to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the lake or play with the fish in the lake. On the edge of the lake, there is a boat called KANGYI tea pavilion. The 1.4-kilometer-long Shuini road around the lake is clean and tidy. On both sides of the road are planted all kinds of trees, such as magnolia, eucalyptus, juniper, oak, etc. it is evergreen all year round. Take a look at the magnolia tree. In summer, magnolia flowers bloom. The fresh air is permeated with a strong fragrance of flowers. It makes people relaxed and happy, and the troubles disappear. Then look at the water pine, planted in the shallow water of the lake, one by one tall and beautiful, standing in the water, it seems quiet and satisfied.
