Yaoli ancient town

Yaoli ancient town, named Yaoli in ancient times, is the birthplace of Jingdezhen ceramics. Located in Fuliang County, Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province, 50 kilometers away from Jingdezhen City, it is known as "the source of porcelain, the hometown of tea and the sea of forest". It is a national historical and cultural town. Surrounded by mountains, primitive forests, bridges, birds, waterfalls and springs, it is a good place for summer. There are a large number of famous houses, shops, streets, roads and baoyaoli in the Qing Dynasty. Historically, it is one of the producing areas of Jingdezhen porcelain raw materials. Yaoli ancient town

Yaoli ancient town is rich in Jiangxi architectural tourism resources, known as "the source of porcelain, the hometown of tea, the sea of forest". It was listed as Jiangxi Provincial Nature Reserve on April 2, 2001. On October 9 of the same year, it was approved as a provincial scenic spot in Jiangxi Province.

At about 19:30 on June 18, 2015, a fire broke out in Yaoli ancient town, Fuliang County, Jingdezhen, burning two or three ancient buildings of Ming and Qing Dynasties, with no casualties.

Introduction to scenic spots

On August 9, 2003, Yaoli town and Gaoling village were selected as the first batch of famous historical and cultural towns and villages in Jiangxi Province. In 2005, Yaoli town won six national brands, namely "China's famous historical and cultural town, Gaoling National Mine Park, China's natural and cultural heritage list, national key scenic spots, national AAAA scenic spot and National Forest Park". Yaoli "Gaoling" is a world-famous ceramic holy land and the world's "kaolin" named place. Now there are 127 ancient mines, 67 ancient kiln sites, 149 water pestles, 600 ancient workshops and 100 ancient docks. Yaoli, named Yaoli in ancient times, is the birthplace of Jingdezhen ceramics. As far back as the middle of the Tang Dynasty, there were handicraft workshops producing ceramics here. Yaoli is located in the northeast of the world-famous porcelain capital and the center of three world cultural heritages (Huangshan, Lushan, Xidi and Hongcun). It is known as "the source of porcelain, the hometown of tea and the sea of forest". It is a national key scenic spot, a national historical and cultural town, a national AAAA scenic spot, a national mine park, a National Forest Park, a national key cultural relic protection unit and a national self-protection center Natural and cultural heritage. At present, the planned area is 195 square kilometers. The scenic spot has pleasant climate in four seasons and dense forests, with a coverage rate of more than 94%. There are more than 180 kinds of rare animals and plants in the area, such as Taxus chinensis var. mairei, Ginkgo biloba, Torreya grandis, leopard, giant salamander, etc. Wuhua mountain, the highest peak in the territory, is 1618.4 meters above sea level, which is the source of the East River of Jingdezhen Changjiang River.

Ming and Qing commercial street is one of the most prosperous commercial streets on ancient Huizhou Avenue, with a total length of more than 1000 meters. Among them, the shops of Ming Dynasty, the key cultural relics protection unit of Jingdezhen, are the most distinctive.

Dongbu ancient street is one of the four ancient streets in Fuliang. It is composed of ancient streets, ancient bridges and ancient docks. It was a place where kaolin was transported during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The numerous shops on both sides of the street and the dents made by the unicycles on the bluestone slabs are the real records of the busy scene of loading kaolin at Dongbu Wharf in ancient times.

Yao Li is the hometown and neighborhood of historical celebrities such as Wu Rui, king of Changsha in the Western Han Dynasty, Li Chunnian, founder of the Southern Song Dynasty, and Wu Congzhi, Minister of foreign affairs of the Ministry of work in the Qing Dynasty. Dongbu ancient wharf tourist area

Dongbu ancient street and ancient wharf: located on the Bank of Donghe river at the foot of Gaoling mountain, it is one of the four famous streets in ancient Fuliang. It is composed of ancient street and ancient wharf. It is a kaolin distributing center in Ming and Qing Dynasties. It was formed by heavy transportation. In ancient times, transportation mainly depended on water transportation. Donghe river originates from Gaoji mountain in Yaoli, flows through Dongbu village at the foot of Gaoling mountain, and finally flows into Changjiang River. It is the main channel connecting the east of Fuliang with the outside world. Therefore, Dongbu Wharf at the foot of Gaoling mountain plays an extremely important role in the economic development of Fudong. At that time, a large number of kaolin, Yaoli glaze fruit and kiln firewood were continuously transported to Jingdezhen from here, supporting the development of Jingdezhen porcelain industry. The numerous shops on both sides of Dongbu ancient street, the dents made by unicycles on the stone slabs in the street, and the stone inscriptions of the imperial court's notice issued in the Qing Dynasty to rectify the kaolin transportation market are the real records of the busy scene of loading kaolin at Dongbu Wharf in ancient times.

Ancient town of porcelain tea
