Fenghuangshan National Mine Park

Fenghuangshan National Mine Park in Shenzhen is located next to Fenghuang Avenue, Pinghu street, Longgang District.

Approved by the Ministry of land and resources in August 2005, it has become one of the first batch of 28 national mining parks in China. It is one of the two parks with mining culture as its characteristics in Shenzhen. It is a public welfare municipal park with mining culture as its theme for people's sightseeing, scientific investigation and leisure tourism.

geographical position

Fenghuangshan National Mine Park is located in the north of Shenzhen, next to Fenghuang Avenue, Pinghu street, Longgang District, with a total area of 8813000 square meters. It is adjacent to Dongguan City in the north and northeast, Henggang street in the southeast, Buji street in the southwest and Guanlan street in Bao'an District in the Northwest. It is the intersection of Shenzhen and Dongguan, and Longgang and Bao'an, The area of hills, terraces and platforms accounts for 74.6% of the total area, and the height of hills is between 60-130 meters.

Landscape features

The park is based on Fenghuangshan Park and Furong garden type mine. It combines the city park with the mine heritage with the characteristic open-pit mine landscape and Fenghuangshan cultural landscape. Taking the unique mining heritage resources as the main landscape features, combined with the beautiful re green landscape resources in the park, it excavates the colorful natural and cultural landscape resources of the park, focuses on the historical connotation of mining development, has research value and educational function, and is a specific public welfare municipal park for people's sightseeing, scientific investigation and leisure tourism.

Theme relics

Since its completion in July 2012, the park has attracted a large number of residents to come here for recreation and sports. Based on Pinghu local culture and mining culture, the park takes ecological environment improvement and mining heritage characteristics as the two themes of the park to create a humanistic environment of Fenghuang mountain with the theme of "mountain watching", "mountain singing", "mountain writing", "mountain praising", "mountain touring" and "mountain dreaming", so as to reflect the spiritual characteristics of "Fenghuang Mountain".

As a mine themed Park, the main mining relics in the park include typical diabase geological profile, large-scale mining stope and processing plant, mining activity relics and diabase mining products. Mining development history books are records and documents reflecting the discovery history, development history and mine evolution of important deposits.
