This stone is also accompanied by a touching Folklore: in ancient times, there were two poor families, Yinmei and Jinge, living on both sides of the stream under ziyunyan in Huangshan. Brother Jin and sister Yin go to the mountain to dig medicine and pick tea together every day. As time goes on, they are inseparable. One day, Shuangshuang came to the stream. Brother Jin played the bamboo flute and sister Yin sang the folk song. Unexpectedly, the Jade Emperor was also visiting Huangshan on this day. Hearing Yinmei's lark like singing, he wanted to marry her as an imperial concubine. After Jinge broke up with Yinmei and returned home, the heavenly soldiers and generals sent by the Jade Emperor came to Yinmei's house and told Yinmei that the Jade Emperor wanted to marry her as an imperial concubine, and Yinmei would not die. The next day, Yinmei and Jinge are just about to get married. Suddenly, the wind blows and thunder flashes. The heavenly army will come down to the house, rob Yinmei and leave. Brother Jin ran after sister Yin on Laoren peak, but there was no sign of her. He called her name to the gate of heaven for forty-nine days. After a sudden storm, brother Jin turned into a big golden rooster. He raised his head and screamed, and his voice soared to the sky. The sad and shrill cry collapsed the Tianmen gate, leaving only one side of the gate, which became the "Tianmen gate" now seen. The Golden Rooster also turned into a skillful stone and walked towards the Tianmen gate where Yinmei walked all day. This is the wonder that the tall Golden Rooster is always looking at tianmenkan. Today, there is a poem praising: "the sky flies, wings have not been collected, and there are thousands of autumn in front of the peak.". The majestic posture is not afraid of the wind and rain, and the day calls endlessly at the gate of heaven. "
