Doulutian scenic spot
Douhutian scenic spot is located in the Kuaiji mountains of Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. The scenic spot is composed of maitreya'an and Baolin peak, which were founded by Zhidun, an eminent monk of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. It is located at the peak of Baolin mountain (formerly known as Keshan) in the great Xianglin scenic spot of Kuaiji mountain in Keqiao district (formerly Shaoxing County). It is adjacent to Lanting, a holy land of calligraphy, in the south, with Putuo Mountain of Haitian Buddha kingdom in the East and Hangzhou City in the West. The planning area of the scenic spot is 1300 mu, the central axis is 2500 meters long, and the building area is nearly 100000 square meters. It is composed of two major building complexes, namely, the doubi Tiangong (heavenly pure land) and the Kuaijishan Longhua Temple (human pure land).
The buildings in the scenic area are planned according to the classics such as shangshengjing and xiashengjing. The planning and design philosophy of Mr. Nan Huaijin is "resource intensive and natural": occupying the smallest land area and creating the largest space for use. With the full use of space and reasonable functional layout, the 110 Mu construction land will be built into a large-scale Buddhist cultural tourist attraction that can receive more than 3 million person times.
Historical evolution
The original site of Maitreya holy land, which was restored and rebuilt, is composed of the original Maitreya Temple and doulufeng. It is located at the peak of Baolin mountain (formerly known as Keshan) in the grand Xianglin scenic spot of Kuaiji mountain in Keqiao district (formerly Shaoxing County). It was built in the 10th year of Yonghe (354) of the Eastern Jin Dynasty and was created by the eminent monk Zhidun. According to the records of Shanyin county annals of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty, as early as the Eastern Jin Dynasty, due to the political turmoil and frequent wars, some upper class celebrities and eminent monks constantly migrated from north to South and successively fled to Jiangdong. Zhidun (313-366), an eminent monk, was named Daolin and Chen Liuren. His family believes in Buddhism from generation to generation. He read scriptures when he was young. He became a monk when he was 25 years old. He is good at Prajna Sutra and pure land thought. He made friends with Xie an, Wang Xizhi, sun Chuo, Xu Xun and other famous people, and was famous for his love of metaphysics. According to the records of Jiaqing Shanyin county annals of the Qing Dynasty, Zhidun set up a Taoist temple in Jiufeng temple near Keshan, the branch of Kuaiji mountain. Moreover, he made a lot of translations and widely spread of Maitreya classics, and wrote the famous "Maitreya Zan". According to Maitreya's shangsheng Scripture and Xiasheng Scripture, Hou Zhidun built Longhua temple on the top of Ke mountain peak at the western end of Kuaiji mountains to practice and spread Buddhism, and created the collection of monks to manage the jungle. According to the records of Shanyin county annals of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty, Wang Xizhi, a sage of Shaoxing, once visited zhidungong in Longhua Temple of Kuaijishan to discuss Maitreya belief. According to the records in Volume 16 of Fayuan Zhulin, Dai Gu in the Eastern Jin dynasty built a Maitreya statue based on menggao, and later placed it in Longhua Temple in Kuaiji mountain (the original appearance of the statue can't be examined now). Therefore, the earliest statue of Maitreya in China was set up in Longhua temple, Kuaiji mountain, Shaoxing, which is the birthplace of Maitreya belief.
According to historical records, in the first year of Taijian (596 AD), songtoutuo (Dharma), the founder of Zen Buddhism, entered and died in Keshan Lingyan temple. Fu (Maitreya incarnation of Fu Dashi) said: Song Gong takes the lead to treat me, and can't stay. He sat down and died on April 24. On his deathbed, he said to his disciples, "I have come from the fourth day to make up for Sakyamuni for the second time." It can be seen that the Kuaiji mountain area in the Jin Dynasty was the center of Maitreya belief. This can also be seen from the remains of Maitreya stone Buddha in the Jin Dynasty in Xinchang and Maitreya stone Buddha in the Five Dynasties in Keyan, Shaoxing, as well as the two incarnations of Maitreya in Chinese history - Fu Dashi of Yiwu in the southwest of Kuaiji mountain in the northern and Southern Dynasties and the Budao monk of Fenghua in the southeast of Kuaiji mountain in the Five Dynasties.
According to the records of Shaoxing Fu Zhi, in the early Tang Dynasty, the imperial court granted an amount to Longhua temple, which became the center and model of the belief in the pure land. However, from Wu Zetian of Tang Dynasty to Song Dynasty, along with the introduction of Mituo belief into Kuaijishan area and its gradual prosperity, it became the mainstream of pure land belief, so the Longhua Temple in Kuaijishan gradually declined and disappeared with the changes of the times. The Longhua Temple in Kuaijishan, the jungle of selecting talents in ten directions, aims at inheriting the Buddhist dharma of Kuaijishan initiated by Everbright Zhidun, promoting the inclusive, harmonious and happy Maitreya belief, and creating a harmonious and pure land of Maitreya.

The temple of heaven
On the morning of December 26, 2015, the first time to show the human world, the douliutian palace, was held in Kuaiji mountain, Keqiao District, Shaoxing City. More than 50 eminent monks and more than 1000 social celebrities from home and abroad gathered at the top of Kuaiji mountain to witness this historic moment.
The temple of heaven is located at the top of the highest peak in the northwest of Raymond Lam, at the peak of 321 meters above sea level, opposite to the Longhua Temple (perfume sea). Behind the temple is an open-air statue of the king of heaven in the north. Inside the statue is a Dharma cave for Dharma and Fu Da Shi to discuss Taoism. "Douhutian" is the fourth heaven in the world of desire in Buddhism, which means "happy heaven" and "happy enough heaven". It is the most wonderful pure land in the world of desire. Eminent monks of all ages yearn to live in the pure land of Buddhism, such as Xuanzang of Tang Dynasty and Taixu mage. Among them, the inner courtyard of douhutian palace is the place where Maitreya Bodhisattva will speak for heaven and man in the future. According to the Buddhist scriptures, more than 2500 years ago, Sakyamuni came to our Saha world from his pocket to lead the six toothed white elephant. Maitreya Bodhisattva will also come to the world after his human karma matures, so as to cultivate the disciples of Sakyamuni and purify our five turbid evil world into the pure land of Maitreya.
From top to bottom, the architecture of Douri temple is: purple lotus, viewing platform, shanfa hall and qichongbaoyuan. On the top of Tiangong is a 48 petal lotus with a diameter of 56.7 meters and a height of 16 meters, which can be called "the best in the world". Inside the lotus is a lecture hall for thousands of people in Tiangong. Lotus is the symbol of Mahayana Buddhism, and also the concentration of lotus peaks around. The giant lotus symbolizes Maitreya's acceptance of the five commandments and ten good deeds of the Saha world, and it also represents the lotus that Buddha and Bodhisattva step on. On the lotus, there is a giant Buddha without phase (i.e. "as big as the heart of the worshiper is, the Buddha is as big as it is"), which is consistent with the meaning of "the Buddha can't see the Tathagata through the body" in the Vajra Sutra. Under the lotus flower is the Xiangke viewing platform, which overlooks the Hangzhou Shaoxing plain and the rolling Kuaiji mountains. Under the viewing platform is the 38 meter high hall of Tianguan Maitreya, shanfa hall, for the world's tallest indoor "open air" (dome decorated into the sky) Buddha. On both sides of the outer Hall of shanfa hall, on the first floor are the Buddhist niches of eminent monks and the inner hall of water and land in Tiangong, and on the second floor are the forum of eight sects of Buddhism (Buddhist Conference Center and lecture hall). It is said that under the hall is the qichongbaoyuan, which is 99 meters wide, 180 meters long and 28 meters high. Baoyuan is a Buddhist Art Museum and lecture hall. There are more than 4000 meters of Buddha statues and Bodhisattvas carved on the outer wall of Baoyuan. From top to bottom, they are 88 Buddhas, Sakyamuni becoming Buddhas, Maitreya becoming Buddhas, four Bodhisattvas, Maitreya of 500 arhat Dynasty, all heavens and feitianjiletian. The outer wall of Baoyuan is equipped with 5000 meters of white marble carved fence board, which is like a white cloud to set off the whole Douli heavenly palace. It makes people look at the heavenly palace from afar and feel ethereal. Entering the heavenly palace, it is magnificent and shocking.
Every clear night, located in the 6000 square meter Tiangong square under the gate of Tiangong Baoyuan mountain, a large-scale Buddhist landscape scene lighting show with Tiangong as the background and interpreted according to Maitreya Sutra will bring visitors into a dreamlike Tiangong dreamland. The perfect integration of modern acousto-optic technology has created a perfect combination of "Buddha light, cloud, bell sound, drum sound, Sanskrit sound and Buddha music" in Tiangong The atmosphere of the realm presents the extraordinary scene of "there are hundreds of millions of lights on lotus flowers" in Buddhist scriptures.
