Shanghai Radio Museum
Shanghai Radio Museum, a museum with radio as its main exhibition content, is invested and built by Shanghai Yidian (Group) Co., Ltd., with a collection of about 2300 pieces, covering more than 10 categories, such as radio, tape recorder, television, transceiver, etc., which is mainly donated by Mr. Zhang Minglu, a famous collector in Shanghai. The indoor and outdoor exhibition area is more than 1000 square meters, with 488 exhibits. With "radio" as the theme, "Museum" as the basis, and "interesting interaction" as the foil, four exhibition areas are set up, including "wireless impression", "historical light and shadow", "time sound" and "infinite distance".
Since November 8, 2017, Shanghai Radio Museum has been officially open to the public for free.

Shanghai Radio Museum is located in room 104a, building B, 200 Tianlin Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai, with an exhibition area of 823 square meters. The exhibition hall is divided into five parts: preface hall, historical light and shadow hall, time sound hall, infinity Zhiyuan hall and multi-function hall. The preface hall covers an area of 87.7 square meters, accounting for 11% of the total area of the exhibition hall. The historical light and shadow area is 126 square meters, accounting for 15% of the total area of the exhibition hall. The area of the hall is 486 square meters, accounting for 59% of the total area of the exhibition hall. Infinite Zhiyuan covers an area of 72 square meters, accounting for 9% of the total area of the exhibition hall. The multimedia hall covers an area of 51.3 square meters, accounting for 6% of the total area of the exhibition hall.
Collection overview
Shanghai Radio Museum has selected 482 radio collections as its main exhibits, including 24 special exhibits, 233 important collections and 225 ordinary collections, such as the microphone of the founding ceremony, the old 1651 super five lamp radio of Asia and America.
Pavilion features
Hall 1 preface hall: 173 collections are selected, of which 90 are important collections and 83 are ordinary collections. The radio corridor composed of real radio objects is displayed to let people place themselves in the memory of sound.
Museum 2 · historical light and shadow Hall: selected 28 collections, of which 2 are special exhibition collections, 8 are important collections, and 18 are ordinary collections, focusing on the display of early foreign classic World Radio products, mainly ore radios and tube radios.
The third Museum, Niannian Liusheng Hall (before the founding of the people's Republic of China): selected 32 collections, including 13 special exhibition collections, 6 important collections and 13 ordinary collections, showing the electronic tubes, transistor radios and military transmitters before the founding of the people's Republic of China.
The fourth Museum, Niannian Liusheng Hall (after the founding of the people's Republic of China): 248 collections are selected, of which 8 are special exhibition collections, 129 are important collections, and 111 are ordinary collections, showing the electronic tubes, transistors and integrated circuit board radios after the founding of the people's Republic of China.
Hall 5 · infinity Zhiyuan Hall (multi-function hall): a special exhibition collection is selected to show the American floor record player of the 1940s.
