Architectural pattern
Baojing temple is located at no.3398 fengzhe Road, Qianqiao Town, Fengxian District, Shanghai. Puxing road in the West leads directly to Lupu Bridge and Chengdu Road north-south viaduct. It covers an area of 10 mu, and has basically completed the civil works of Shanmen, Tianwang hall, Daxiong hall, pharmacist hall, lecture hall, Guanyin hall, dizang hall, bell drum tower and Wanfo pagoda, with a construction area of 6000 square meters. The architectural pattern is rigorous and generous, the interior is simple and quiet, the pavilions match each other, ingenious and unique; the towering ten thousand Buddha pagoda is exquisite and elegant. Climbing the tower to the top, looking up, looking at the sky, Hangzhou Bay sea surface, the Oriental Pearl Tower panoramic view. The special geographical environment, perfect overall planning, outlines a happy, affectionate, solemn land of Sanbao Zen pure Daochang. It's the place of Buddhism to open a hall to accept the masses, to gather the good companions, to practice Taoism for the sake of rules, to avoid all kinds of evils, and to pursue all kinds of good deeds. It's the place of Buddhism to hear the bell, to live in the sky with the sword wheel, to believe in the golden drum, to awaken the fans, and to enter the Sanmin together.
About the Abbot
Master Yin Ming, the abbot, is currently the vice president and Secretary General of Fengxian Buddhist Association. He was devout, converted to Buddhism at the age of 19, and was determined to devote himself to the cause of Buddhism. After visiting the elders of various mountains and the knowledge of great goodness, I have experienced the famous temples and ancient temples, and the holy sites of Buddha. Since he was the abbot of Baojing temple, he has devoted himself to the cause of Buddhism, participated in social public welfare activities, actively guided the Buddhists to take the road of adapting to the socialist society, and contributed to the construction of two civilizations in Fengxian District.
Gongde Hall
Gongde hall on the ground floor of the ten thousand Buddha pagoda of Baojing Buddhist temple absorbs the decoration concept of temples in Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan. It uses imported polymer composite materials with superior performance, and integrates modern home decoration elements. The concept of ceiling sets off white clouds with huge blue sky, showing the open virtual space of the whole Gongde hall, which is bright and magnificent, leaving people with infinite reverie. The niche is ivory colored, and the gold-plated lotus on the panel means that Buddhists yearn for the Western Paradise. Traditional patterns and modern crafts are beautiful, harmonious and meaningful, which fully embodies the ideological realm of "Buddhism is inseparable from worldly law, everything is based on human". The completion of Gongde hall not only adds a touch of light to the whole Baojing temple,
To become an eye-catching scenic spot in Shanghai, it is particularly important to "present merits and virtues, return to the ten methods, pray for peace and stability, repay the society, repay the benefactor, make a great wish for the root force, and feel the connection between Taoism and Taoism".
