Brief introduction of Jinpu house
Xieyongguan to cabinet bachelor and official department left Shilang, Ministry of work left Shilang, by banquet lecturer. In 1794, the eleventh son of Qianlong, Prince Aixinjueluo Yongzhen, inscribed a plaque of "Qixiu hall" on the main hall of Jinpu house. The house was built in the late Qianlong period. It used to be a large courtyard with complete East and West Wing rooms, stables and Hefu. In the old days, it was called "tianguanfu" and was the head of Fengjing. The two corridors of the residence respectively display the characters and events of Fengjing in the past 1500 years. The doors and windows on both sides of the patio are exquisitely carved and vivid. Outside the south wall of the house, there are three memorial archways, which are Zhuangyuan, Jinshi and Juren. The names of three Zhuangyuan, 56 Jinshi and 125 Juren who were born in Fengjing are engraved on the archways. The wall on the left is carved with 21 people with official titles above three grades in Fengjing history. This long list of ancient scholars' names is the result of the ancient imperial examination system, the epitome of Fengjing farming culture, and the historical witness of the outstanding local people.
