Under the care of Zhoupu Town People's government and the guidance of Zhoupu cultural service center, Zhoupu art museum was established and officially opened to the public in November 2011 as a public art institution. It is located in Zhoupu Park, Pudong New Area, Shanghai. The building stands near the water, with an area of 1700 square meters. The environment is beautiful and the space is bright. There are the first and second exhibition halls, which can display traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, print, calligraphy, sculpture, photography and contemporary art. The Ministry of public education provides all kinds of art public welfare courses for children, providing soil for the cultivation of children's art appreciation and creativity. In the art corridor outside the building, there are statues of cultural predecessors and celebrities in Zhoupu area, which contribute to the inheritance and continuation of local excellent cultural traditions.

In line with the development direction of "based on Zhoupu, facing the whole country, paying attention to the contemporary, inheriting the history", Zhoupu Art Museum strives to excavate the historical origin of Zhoupu culture, promote local excellent art talents, display fine arts, and promote cultural exchanges. Guided by the idea of great cultural development and prosperity, and in the social atmosphere of diversified cultural development, Zhoupu art museum will face the society with a positive, open and harmonious attitude, play its energy in cultural inheritance and development, provide content for public cultural services, and build a platform for art exchange.

The art gallery is divided into two exhibition halls. On the east side is the permanent exhibition hall of Zhoupu calligraphers and painters, displaying some representative works of Zhoupu calligraphers and painters such as Wang Yiting, Su Juxian and Zhou Shaochang. There are lots of calligraphy works, such as seal script, official script, regular script, running script, cursive script and so on. Visitors can not help but admire the breadth and depth of Zhoupu culture. On the west side is the temporary exhibition hall of the art museum, which regularly displays the fine paintings of the national masters of calligraphy and painting. In order to improve the level of exhibition, Zhoupu Art Museum has signed a joint exhibition agreement with Shanghai No.1 Art Museum, Shanghai Painting and calligraphy art academy and other institutions. After some highly professional art exhibitions are displayed in the municipal level exhibition hall, they will be "transferred" to Zhoupu Art Museum for exhibition, so that Zhoupu citizens can enjoy master works at home.
Art Corridor
In order to inherit the fine tradition of painting and calligraphy, and make future generations understand the past and look forward to the celebrities, Zhoupu Art Museum, with the support of leaders at all levels and the strong support of all walks of life, has been building the statue Gallery of celebrities of painting and calligraphy in Zhoupu for more than a year, which is undoubtedly a significant project in the history of Zhoupu culture.
Zhoupu Art Museum specially invited Professor Tang Ruihe, former director of Sculpture Department of Academy of fine arts of Shanghai University, and senior art designer Jiang Shengrong to design and carve famous statues. In the early stage, they were Wang Yiting (1867-1938), Huang Yanpei (1878-1965), Su Juxian (1883-1991), Zhou fangbai (1906-2001), Fu Lei (1908-1966) and Zhang Nanming (1911-1997) )There are ten people in the group, including Tang Xubai (1913-1993), Hu Wensui (1918-1999), Kang Zezhi (1924-2011) and Tang Zunzhi (1924-2009).
