Shanghai Shize Taoist temple, commonly known as Shize temple, is a place for Taoist activities.

Built in 1524 of Jiajing reign of Ming Dynasty, the temple was built in a desolate state. The incense was burned down and the villagers lost their parents. The local gentry were eager to develop the new temple. The town people all contributed money enthusiastically. It started in winter and ended in June. In the front hall of the gate, there were East and West chambers in the middle hall and five corridors on the left and right sides of the hall. Therefore, the temple was renovated and became famous for a time. (it is recorded in volume 3 of Shanghai county annals by Jiajing of Ming Dynasty that Shize temple is in the south of Bailianjing)
In the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), the temple has been built for more than 500 years. Although it has been repaired in the past dynasties, it has gone through the war, the rain and the destruction of the Phoenix, and the day has gone by. There is a Taoist temple with seven front halls, seven back halls, two East and two West halls. It covers an area of 266 square meters 7 square meters, and engraved in the pavilion to describe its event, mainly for the city god Qin Yubo, the temple then Yu new, incense said Sheng, for a side security.
The current courtyard, which was rebuilt in recent years, is located at 1234 Pusan Road, Pudong (near Chengshan Road). It reproduces the splendor of the palace.
