Wave culture city is located in the core area of Qianjiang New Town in Hangzhou. It is connected to the city balcony in the East, Jiefang East Road in the south, Hangzhou International Conference Center under construction, Fuchun road in the west, citizen center and Metro citizen center station, Xinye road in the north, Hangzhou Grand Theater.

The main plane of wave culture city is T-shaped, 506 meters long in east-west direction and 438 meters wide in north-south direction. It has two floors, almost all of which are underground, with a total construction area of 124000 square meters. Its main functions are commercial, tourism, leisure, logistics center and parking garage for itself, Hangzhou Grand Theater and Hangzhou International Conference Center. Among them, green space and water area are 28000 square meters, commercial and cultural facilities area is about 57000 square meters, providing about 800 public parking spaces, and civil air defense space combining peacetime and wartime is about 15000 square meters.

Functional zoning

The core area of wave culture city is 117 meters wide and 500 meters long from the citizen center to the city balcony. The ground floor of this area is closely connected with the underground space through a series of ramps, squares, pools and open corridors. The area perpendicular to the core area and arranged along Fuchun road is the wingspan area, and the broken line falling water area on both sides provides a beautiful landscape for the underground space and the surrounding regional environment. The flanking area will connect with the underground shopping corridor of Fuchun road in the later stage.
